Did I just spend two days searching materials and created a mini bio for my crown from scratch because I'm in love with how her character is written? Yes, you're absolutely right bestie

For you fire had always been searing heat and insatiable hunger, never had you considered before that it could also be warmth and light, that fire could also be a torch guiding you through the dark.

Never had you imagined that you would ever seek it out on your own accord, that you would willingly let it consume you. But here you stand, holding your hand into the flames.

atoc review/ thoughts (including ch.6)

just finished my first playthrough of @ataleofcrowns. dedicated to @liamcowles @queerbrujas @lordrezan (i get the reference now :D) @hartfeld who all made sure to regularly put atoc content on my dash & that way kindly reminded me to finally read it 😘

i was falling in love with it so fast. reading it made my heart glow & i can’t even pinpoint why … it’s a mixture of cherry’s writing (mesmerising!), the world building, the mc itself (they feel so real, thanks for your dedication) … or maybe it’s simply the cast having an insane amount of chemistry 🥰🥳

we need to talk about how easy it was for me to choose a li after only four chapters: for my first crown leyla it’s a, in case you’re curious … height difference? bodyguard trope? sunshine & grumpy cat person who acts nonchalant and actually cares a lot dynamic?! SIGN ME UP. cherry did a brilliant job introducing everyone & making them feel alive – thank you ♥️

everything is neatly written down & at some point, mc even starts a journal, so i could always go back & check stuff. yes, this is sexy (the way my heart leapt the moment the chronology was introduced 😱😍)

additionally, the chapters are long & detailed, the plot is engaging … guess what, the choices you make as a crown actually matter (apparently, there’s a good & a bad ending planned). my intuitive mc is stressed 🙈 but i’m pleased!

do i recommend it? – OBVIOUSLY.

are edits planned? – yeah, leyla definitely gets a instagram au & i’m planning to try out a different template for her, let’s see, if i can make it work. feel free to dm/ ask me to put you on a tag list etc.

i’m looking forward to chapter 7, take care in the meantime ♥️
