Rhydian — a lot of songs from the spirit: stallion of the cimarron soundtrack actually! I still need to go listen again and decide how many I am actually gonna put on this boy’s playlist lol

but the most relevant one is This is Where I Belong. perfectly conveys his love for the wilderness he grew up in and how it will always be his home. it is his safe place that he feels deeply connected to.

do they value their appearance?

Rhydian — honestly his physical appearance is not something I think he has ever super thought about? he grew up in the wild and never had anyone to really impress in that regard. so yeah like his attire is all about practicality and that’s it (at most he has some handmade accessories but those are more about sentimental value). he absolutely does not care how he looks to others if he gets dirtied up while out and about that’s just what happens man.

Bianca — very much so! the care this girl takes to make sure her entire look is on point? insane. no one knows how she has the time to make all her own outfits, not to mention doing her hair and makeup. she is certainly rich enough to have people to help with that but she insists on doing it all herself.

in what moment did they consider themselves to be “grown up”?

Rhydian — probably shortly after arriving in the alienage to be honest. seeing everything there and stepping up to help kinda put everything into perspective. he was no longer a carefree kid living blissfully unaware in the woods anymore.

Bianca — oh so very early on probably in her mid-teens during one of her nobility tutoring sessions. she decided she was not a child anymore. she had responsibilities to attend to and fully focused on preparing to be lady of the house someday. luckily her parents nudged her toward more leisurely activities and balanced that shit out lol
