In honour of Camp Camp season 5 episode 1 coming out today, have an old drawing I forgot about. I remember being excited because there was the possibility of the trio (and other characters) getting redesigns for the new season, seeing as it’s set a year later. Honestly a little disappointed to see only a select few characters getting them? I especially think it could have aided Max, to help set him apart now that he has a new voice actor, cus Krishna is doing an awesome job! I just feel like his voice is a bit jarring when I’ve gotten so used to Michael as Max, so I think a new design could have made that transition more seamless. Plus redesigning him slightly gives the added illusion of puberty changing his voice a bit ;)

Also I drew this back when I thought David gifting Max the camera would lead to a new hobby/camp for him… it’s still possible! Though I do think it’s hilarious that he’s now a gymnast.

Overall though I think it was a good first episode! Really excited to see what the new season has in store!
