Because I’m a crazy party animal, Fridays I like to bundle up, go to the pool for a swim, soak in a tub with Epsom salts and then put oil on my skin. And then I 😴 early and I’m ok with that. I get the best sleep ever and I highly recommend this routine. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I’ve been using Beauty of Eczema Epsom salts and and then using this new Chere Mere oil out of the Caribbean and omg it’s 🫠🫠🫠. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ The oil is a blend and doesn’t soak into your skin but it coats it to keep hydration in. The scent is decidedly tropical and not overpowering. I’ve been using it consistently for a couple of weeks and I’ve noticed that even eczema that was starting has subsided. It really has been the best thing for my skin and I adore it. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Also, I’ve gotten so many compliments on my American Eagle swimsuit and it was $20. Forever my favourite hair oil and one that is made by a company founded by someone who knows and lives in the Ayurvedic tradition: Sahajan Nurture Hair Oil. Smells amazing (herbal but not green). If you like how Aveda products smell, then you'll like this oil too. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ When this company launched, their PR person sent me the whole line of products to try, and I've since repurchased the body and hair oils many time, even buying them as gifts. They are THAT good. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ They use Amla and Coconut oils in the blend, oils that in Indian households are commonplace and used daily. This oils brings that tradition into this era with tasteful apothecary-style packaging and beautiful scents. Smells like Pumpkin Spice but tingles like nothing else! I've been the @ellaiskin Pumpkin Puree AHA and Resveratrol Dermal Peel for a few weeks. It is a little tingly on my retinoid-flaky skin, but it's better than a glycolic serum because I can leave it on for a few minutes and then wash it off. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I find that even with a retinoid in my skincare routine, my skin misses the smoothness that an acid usually gives, so using this type of a mask once a week does the trick.
