Have you seen the new Valentines PV from Shounen Jump? Its v cute, it has a really fun aesthetic and will make a lot of nice wallpapers. It also has a shitty error where they’ve included Tiger even though he’s a man, but I want to talk about something different.

I couldn’t help noticing the utter sidelining of poor Ochako. She does not get her own splash like Kinoko, Nejire, Camie, Hatsume, S&S, Eri, Jirou, Tsuyu, Momo or Hagakure, or any of the villain girls.

In fact she shares small panels in a group frame, then is shown in an Insta-style sequence with Ashido and that infamous keychain.

What made me spit out my tea is the final frame of this sequence.

The ONE bit of dialogue they included in this whole Valentine’s themed promo was Ochako shouting CHIGAU NO ASHIDO-CHAN!

“YOU’RE WRONG ASHIDO-CHAN!”

Uhhhh….. ummm. Okay. Let’s just— I mean… I don’t know what to do with this. Just a reminder though:

Off topic for a sec, but where would LA train the multitude of clients she likes to pretend she has if they really don't have a big enough space for that in their Venice home? I guess I can see why she made the Insta sympathy story for a gym; of course she had reason to need a separate space with enough of the CW actors trying to be nice & train with her before realizing she wasn't a legit trainer, so they'd just use the free gym equipment once or twice more, & then move on.

She’ll continue to go to Cami’s house and train that one client she has 😂

aside for my undying love for Cami, I really enjoyed this movie!! it's giving me THEE romcoms I've always wanted. with pleasing cinematography (I loveloveee London), fun characters even her sister's fiancé is hilarious LOL, cliché plot I would say but I ate it anyway, not so much cringy dialogue, great meet cute, Cami's outfit??? Archie's british accent??? oh yeah I'm seated already... although there were some plot holes here and there, for example it seems unlikely on this day for him to not stalking her insta or else and find out that she's not the director of erwins, like c'mon... but anywayyyy it's fun, light, and definitely added to my comfort movies!

+ one thing I noticed, the "lies" plot thing was kinda similar to The Other Zoey which i loved it surprisingly and Archie coincidentally happens to be on the cast too lmao 😹

You're going to love Alexis Mac Allister's gossip.

Until the end of 2022 he was dating a girl (Cami Mayan). They were dating for 10 years and it turns out that during those 10 years, Mac Allister cheated on her with his best friend, his current girlfriend (Ailen Cova).

Cami started to suspect that Mac Allister was acting weird during the World Cup, she thought it was the stress of the whole competition. Today, she believes that he was already wanting to end their relationship, but that he didn't have the courage.

Mac Allister and Cami were living together in England, Mac Allister broke up with her on his birthday (24th December), which is Christmas Eve. He told her "I don't love you any more" and sent Cami back to her parents the same day.

Mac Allister's own parents knew nothing of what was going on, they didn't know that their son was cheating on his girlfriend all the time with his best friend. Cami said that her in-laws were very good and understanding with her, they helped her in every way they could when the relationship ended.

That was in 2022, that could have been the end of it, but in the middle of last year (in June) it was discovered that Alexis was cheating on Cami with Ailen for all these years. Someone filtered an old facebook account of Ailen, where there were old posts where she talked about her relationship with Alexis and openly despised Cami and Mac Allister himself answered her posts. The worst thing is that for Cami it was a double betrayal, not only was her boyfriend cheating on her, but it was with a woman she considered a very close friend. Because they were all from the same group of friends when they were teenagers, they all grew up together.
