Intended Outcome

Progress:
Experiment has so far failed to reach intended target. Keeps getting distracted, by anything with legs... Both proud and vexed.
Dream onto me, has launched a counter attack and gifted him the skill of (gag)... poetry. With hopes of tempting him toward his dominion. No matter! I shall encourage him towards romanticism. All the better to seduce immortal love sick peasants with.
Experiment has gone rogue... In every sense of the term. Should not have used actual essence of my brother for ingredients when creating him. Has inherited his propensity towards bouts of extreme dramatics, misguided romance and humongous temper tantrums. Caught him moping in the rain... Why is this my life?
(Side quest) Introduced experiment to the Corinthian in hopes of luring the Nightmare away from his master and into my grasp. Intense period of rambunctious sex proceeded. Very promising...
Has dropped the Nightmare like a hot blonde potato...Made the Corinthian cry and swear off men for the next decade. .. Little f*cker!
Finally made contact with target. Promising start, Dream's pet project obviously smitten.... Victory is at hand!
Experiment has been politely turned down, with a nauseatingly kind offer of friendship. Dream unbearably smug bastard... What have I done to deserve this?!

Experiment: Failure... Abandoned.

Dream has stolen experiment post life and let him set up shop in the Dreaming. Titled him Lord of Misrule. I've been informed he has lovingly settled down with that milk fop William Shakespeare. Apparently they have taken up... Gardening!!! I'm telling Mother!

I love the game, i really do, but for me its around 8-9/10.

Im gonna asterisk all my points cause i want it to be more organized. This is things i wish square would patch into the game, (15's way)
*first thing first, my roomate had a pretty solid point about the terrence dion goodbye scene. We care for dion, they showed us plenty of him, but terrence, not so much. (or their relationship beside that one kiss scene), but not about their pure bond- which i agree, for dion involvment in the ending, he should have more screentime, also with the involvement of the empire in the plot- it shouldve got the witcher 3 approach with the siri segments, show don't tell- i think there should have been a playable section in the bahamut vs odin, to get to know dion and his dynamics better. - that scene wouldve hit so much harder.and like my kiss argument my straight roomate agreed, that if terrence at least went back for a last kiss teary that'll pull the tear gear.
*joshua-oh god they let us play as him when he was a baby, why not just letting us playing as him when the player discover that he is alive, with jote and the undying, even for small section not wanting to reveal the cards too early. I think that should be a part of the game, the base game.
*jill- if it must be a dlc so be it, but at least add some cutscenes to when she talks about the iron kingdom, we as players would be so much more hyped to join her vengeance quest, she have the potential, you showed us the horrors bennedikta went throgh which is why at least i became to love her in the end, why not a main character like Jill, she have so much potential, if not making a palyable iron kingdom section (like before she reunited with clive maybe when she grew a bit)at least add the cutscenes square.
*for god sake make it possible to switch party members like you did in 15, L1+L2 is no combo anyway so patch that thing, it'll be so much more refreshing especially in the first half of the game when the quests are dry and the gameplay loop is repetitive.
*make the ambrosia quest mandatory, so many pple dont even know they can unlock the chocobo, or at least let the player know that the + green quest are important if they want to upgrade their gameplay. This isn't an mmo most single player players will look at that and thing that the + is an extra non important (had an irl talk with a friend who thought that)
*dlc- make it season pass only,one time pay and thats it. the game is 69.99 it shouldn't even need a dlc, but at least do a full on season pass in like 19.99 with like at least a cid dlc(dont yall wanna see his time with the empire, taking small mid otto gav and making the hideaway happen, also, i wanna know who from the boys have a spicy history with cid cause quinten suggested it and some other npcs as well), dion dlc(not only to get a look at the first official not hinted gay character's love life, no not for that-but i think we need a real look into the empire pre and post Annable. what we saw of his dad was tereible, i wanna know why dion is so atrached and looking highly of him, also like ive said in previous post i have to know dion pov on branded), jill dlc(cause bae need a redemption i fucking hate how square treat a strong female character once she's a love interest of the protag)
And a gav dlc, like something happens in the end that if you dont choose gav in the quest you wont know, but gav tells a bit about his past and i think especially since he is our main scout, dlc of him and byron maybe could be cool, after the kanvar event.
*enemies variety- im pissed theres no Cactaur hunt or tonberry. Like really really pissed. You kept the freaking flann but not the cactaur?!please for the love of fucking god patch them as a hunt or something.
*animation fixes- so many quests that had a higebuildup ended looking cheap. Fix that-asap, especially the quinten quest, it could have hit so much harder if the lipsync wasn't so cursed looking while the model was kinda static they had quest with proper cutscense like theo's, why not Quinten since its a freaking end of a huge chain quest. Also, in general fix the freaking lipsync that shit is cursed af.
In conclusion i know pple like shitting on 15 but i thino 16 will only bemefit from the 15 treatment, especially for the proce we as consumers payed.
This game doesnt feel finished, it feels rushed, i think 2 more years in the baking wouldve benefit it, but well its out, so why not patching it. I think it'll boost the sales cause now the game feel bare, and many things feel like placeholders. So i hope the team didnt pop the champagne yet.
I dont blame Yoshi p or the team, i think they did an amazing job, but i do blame square's higher ups tendency to announce and release a teiple A game too early, they need to understand that atech advances, it need and will take more time to develope a game. And if you want to take the money that you are asking for at least make sure that the dough isn't raw.

Week 9: Sands, Sips, and Scuba
Monday - Annnnnnd We’re off
We packed early in the morning after landing in Sydney. We loaded our stuff into the campervan parked across the street and made the cabin “sea-worthy”. After turning the first block, however, there was a thundering crash... We had underestimated just how violently the car could shake, nothing but good omens here.
Our first stop was the Australian Reptile Park. We booked the encounters tour which allowed us to pet koalas and echidnas, and even hold a juvenile wombat. We also got a backroom tour of some of the world’s deadliest snakes and spiders. They keep them to harvest their venom which gets sent around the world to develop antivenom medicine.
Tuesday - Sand Boarding
The next day we drove up the coast to Nelson’s Bay. We toured the nearby beach around Port Stevens. We got a fascinating history lesson on how the Australians braced this beach for a Japanese invasion in 1942 and how the beach grows yearly by 4 meters. The large deposits are actually coming from the blue mountains eroding and getting washed out into the sea. And then we sandboarded, more like sled but yeah:
That evening we decided to go backwards and stay at a nearby park to make our 10 am wine tour in Hunter Valley.
Wednesday - Wine and Turkish Delight
It was 23 fleets of wine and cheese pairings and it floored everyone.
It was delicious but way more alcohol than any of us were expecting. The day of drinking took us out for the next four hours of the day. We made it to Port Macquarie and took a stumbling but refreshing stroll on the beach.
That night we had the best food I’ve had during my time in Australia. We dined at Reyhana, a Turkish restaurant, and ate heaps of homemade pita and hummus as well as lamb shish and buttered rice.
I hastily booked a nearby campsite for the night as all the places I did find were unavailable. It turned out to be an unpowered campsite… Oops. No AC plus tons of bugs meant a humid, irritated night of sleep for everyone.
Thursday - Byron Baes
The next morning we booked it to Byron Bay for a promising day of adventure.
First up was a guided snorkeling excursion through the EAC(East Australian Current) duuuude (the same one Crush and his son Squirt rode in Finding Nemo).
Some highlights were the eagle ray and leopard shark that were hitching a ride on the EAC to loop the island we were snorkeling around. The boat ride was another highlight, the swell coming in made for perfect hills to accelerate over and catch air, at least that’s how the driver felt.
That night we ventured into the town of Byron Bay. We had only known the town from the cheesy reality TV show called Byron Baes so we were pleasantly surprised by how similar it was. It’s a town of linens and “inspirers” (rather than influencers). All that aside, we got a beautiful dinner in a bar that looked over the beach and then made our way to the local nightlife. Props to our Uber driver who convinced us to check out our first stop: someone’s backyard turned into a psychedelic bar with a trippy dancefloor.
It was unlike anything I had been to. The DJ was mixing vaguely familiar music over a wash of synths, there were artists actively painting their psychedelic pieces in the corners, and, when they felt it was getting a bit dull, fire-dancing people would inexplicably take over the dance floor and perform.
Friday - Koala Cuddling to Cairns Crazes
We finally got to hold koalas! The state of New South Wales forbids the practice and so as soon as we crossed the border into Queensland we signed up for the experience. It was a brief encounter and the zoo keeper told us that it was a practice they and the rest of Australia would be phasing out over the next year.
We then parted ways with our roommates who drove up in their sleeper van and would now make the 13-hour drive back down the coast to Sydney.
We quickly packed up and made our way to the Brisbane airport to catch our flight to Cairns. Our time in Cairns was brief. We got in late and spent most of our time running between loads of laundry at the local laundromat and finishing the procrastinated scuba diving e-learning course.
Saturday - Live A Board, Dive A Board
*5:45 am*
I’m up, I’m up.
We started our day early getting our gear and luggage stowed on the diving boat we’d be living on for the next three days. The boat takes customers out to the offshore parts of the Great Barrier Reef and guides them through certifications and general scuba diving skills. Joe, my Dad and I signed up for the Advanced Scuba Diving and Nitrox courses. Over this day and the next, we took our e-learning skills and applied them out at sea. The technical dives focused on navigation with and without a compass, buoyancy and control, night diving (how to communicate and navigate), a deep dive down to 100 feet, and a fish identification dive.
*phew*
By the end of the second day, we were officially advanced scuba divers! We dove, ate, and drank with people from all around the world. Almost everyone, regardless of age, had a similar story of feeling that too much of their life had gone by or that they had missed out on traveling earlier and so quit their jobs to see the world. For many of them, it was a decision that took several years of careful planning and saving and none of them regret diving out of their comfort zone and into the wider world.
Quick side note: I was told by my instructor that he knew I was an aerospace student as soon as he saw me take off from the ocean floor, the plume of sand that followed my vertical, sound barrier-breaking push was "rocket-like".
Between dives, I tried to catch up on the alarming amount of recorded lectures I’ve missed.
And now I write this on the boat ride back to shore with nine new dives and two new certifications under my belt. I’m looking forward to the last few days with my Dad and dreading the reality check from the mounting days of missed school.

He's a model represented by LA Models, Kult Models and FiveTwenty Models. He frequently posts his shoots on his Instagram, @myfriendelias. He also made the move from Australia to the United States. Nathan Favro 13Nathan went on The Bachelorette Australia. Nathan also isn't new to reality TV as he starred on The Bachelorette Australia. However, he was axed due to discussing cheating rumours concerning Ali Oetjen and ex Grant Kemp. He later appeared on Bachelor in Paradise Australia where he went into a relationship with Tenille Favios. However, Tenille later revealed he 'friend-zoned' her within a week after filming finished. In November 2022, Nathan pleaded guilty to a series of driving offences. He pleaded guilty to one count of unlicensed driving after being caught doing an illegal U-turn at an intersection while on a suspended licence. Sarah is a singer who has released three singles under the name st. James and was previously part of a duo called Elle. However, Sarah's time on the show was far from magical. She stated that filming was absolute torture and she turned to alcohol to cope with her anxiety. She found other cast members were 'insanely judgemental'. "I had to suck it up. She's a model and frequently models for Jessica's own fashion brand. She's represented by Associated Models. She boosts 18.6k followers on Instagram and her description states she still lives in Byron Bay. Hannah Brauer 13Hannah is co-creative director of Bisque Traders. Hannah is the co-creative director of her family's Byron Bay boutique, Bisque Traders. They sell only ethically made clothing with Hannah often modelling some of the items. She's also a singer and songwriter. Hannah's Instagram boosts a hefty 29.4k followers and she frequently posts about the boutique and aspects of her own daily life. Cai Leplaw 13Cai is a photographer. Cai is a photographer who boosts 30k followers on Instagram. His Instagram often showcases his art and behind-the-scenes content. His art has previously been displayed in NSW's pack gallery studio. He's also a model having walked run for Speed Limited. Elle Watson 13Elle is a businesswoman. Elle is a businesswoman who focuses on helping the environment. Byron Baes was her first stint on reality TV. She worked as a managing partner at Providus Investments and founded One Sustainability Fund. She's also the chairman of One. Congo which is dedicated to "cleaning The Great Congo River, The Atlantic Ocean and enhancing the Congo Basin" according to its LinkedIn description. Dave Frim and Saskia Wotton 13Saskia and Dave have been together for six years. Saskia is a fashion sales director and Dave is an entrepreneur working on creating a boutique airline. Saskia founded Muma World, a fashion brand that sells items that range for hefty prices. She recently posted a collection of photos of her and Dave celebrating their six-year anniversary. Simba Ali 13Simba is a spiritual leader and fire dancer. Simba currently boosts 26.2k followers on Instagram. He had a corporate job in Sydney before experiencing a personal tragedy.
