i have been here three seconds and i already love this place. the cutest dog came rushing to me to say hi. sure, so when he did he jumped up at me, made me drop the lamp i was holding, it fell to the floor and shattered. the dog owner was horrified but it was okay, the lamp was ugly as f so it really did save me trouble. sorry mama, it just wasn’t meant to be in my apartment. are dogs welcoming everyone moving to bayview? because i can see why this place is so popular then. oh and i guess i should introduce myself. i’m megan, and if anyone would love to show the new girl around and buy her dinner... i’m not saying no. // @townofbayview​

i was under the impression that i was moving into an empty house with no mates, but after taking a look in all the rooms it seems i was mistaken - considering there is a spider as big as my fist in one of the rooms. okay, maybe not as big as my fist, but the first impression? it was big. now, this leaves me with a few options. do i just close off that room and not use it? do i try to befriend the little bugger? i try to not scream my lungs off and make a fool out of myself in the neigbourhood since i reckon that’s not what i want to as a first impression of me... stay tuned friends, stay tuned. and by the way, i’m the new lad in town, name’s freddy and i might have a new pet spider, and if he (she? they?) starts taking over my house i might be trying to sleep on your sofa from now on. // @townofbayview​

my favourite show dropped with a new season so of course, i’ve been in bingewatching almost the whole thing. now, there’s absolutely nothing that offends me more than when netflix gives you that ‘are you still watching...’ pop-up. like yes, netflix, i am still watching. do you think i have a life? i do not. i am still watching, leave me alone. i swear, netflix guilt-trips me as much as it still feels like i’m doing something wrong when i stay inside when the weather is nice, like i’m 30+ and still hear my parents’ judging tone asking why i’m inside when i could be out enjoying the sunshine. please tell me i’m not the only one in this.

Little known fact:  I was broke during most of my 20's so I moved to take a job as an optician clinic. Now as a less broke, 30-something I decided to move to Bayview. I’m sorry to inform you that I won’t be working for or opening an optician clinic here unless things go really south.  I riding high on my career though and I intend to keep doing that.  I was informed that Bayview was the kind of place someone could escape to between the long hours on set so here I am.  I found a cute little place with plenty of space in it and honestly, my next mission is to lure as many of my friends from around the world around so life can be a constant sleepover where everyone has their own room but you can have communal parties to watch Love Island or Drag Race. I’m actually looking forward to getting to see more American reality television.  Everyone has their kryptonite and mine is that.  Please let me know what yours is.  I promise I want to know for innocent reasons. I won’t use it against you.

I had this crazy idea this morning called “working out” and since weather’s being nice, I went out in the garden. That’s where I had planned on doing some leg exercises and by leg exercises I don’t mean running after Waffle and yet, that’s what I did. Don’t ask how but the goat found a way to escape and she runs fast -- and she made me look absolutely ridiculous. What’s your most embarrassing pet story? I know mine wasn’t that awkward but now I wanna know yours.

There was the pizza and games party yesterday, right? Well, I went there, had a lot of fun but I lost one game. Only one but I’m so competitive so I dreamt about it last night. I have a stupid fear of hairdresser. I don’t know where it comes from but I never feel comfortable when they touch my hair, I’m always afraid to leave their place with a bad haircut. hired some help with moving all my boxes, as we had unloaded the last of it one of the guys put an arm out to wave to his buddy but me, being an absolute idiot, of course mistook this as him going in for a hug (no, i don’t know why, don’t ask me how my brain works) and well.. this was awkward. so hello bayview, it’s lovely to meet you, but i know have to move out from this planet because i’m so ashamed so it was a short but sweet visit. this was matt daddario, over and out. @townofbayview​

I used to think that building computers was super cool but then, one of my brothers came to town with his children and they looked at me as if I were the lamest person they’ve ever seen. Apparently, the only way to be cool in a teenager’s eyes is to be on Tik Tok. No need to say that I don’t even know how that app works. Watch me create my own account just to be the coolest uncle again. What is the one thing that makes you feel old -- or at least, the thing that makes you feel like you can’t keep up with kids’ trends?
