Thinking about name changes for my au and like, logically, Jayfeather shouldn't be named that anymore since he's named after Crowfeather. Leafpool no longer pines after him for years and years, that gets swapped to Crowfeather- she's more disillusioned than anything. And I just might make it so that Jayfeather and Hollyleaf swap places and Jay is a warrior (if only because medic Hollyleaf is BRUTAL imo and I love it) so Firestar names him. But like... the triplet's names are honestly some of my favorites in the series. So I don't want to change them LMAO.

#alsooo I want to keep jay being prickly and all bc at the end of the day its a fun character trait to work with #buuuuuuuuuuut i dont want him in a position of power in that case #razorverse #also ig leafpool would name hollyleaf after herself in this case which tbh is out of character for her at that point #but hollyleaf is such a good name and i have no desire to change it #maybe the name was recommended to leaf by squirrel because she was like ''you had to watch me raise these kits as my own with no say- #''-so you should be allowed to name your daughter after yourself. it's a beautiful name and I'm sure she'd love it'' #... maybe when hollyleaf goes into the tunnel she drops the ''leaf'' part because she thinks its dishonorable and sickening... #but takes it back when she returns to the clan
