okay one more doodle dump of this freak (affectionate) before I start sketching the next page of the comic

They used a rock to make their fingers sharp like claws. their teeth are natural however! one of their stims is chewing and “eating” (eating in quotes because they can’t actually eat, although they do have a sense of taste) things that should not be chewed on or eaten. they probably get some chewing stim toys later, though it was probably hard to find something that their teeth wouldn’t shred.

They’re VERY aggressive in the beginning and would give little to no warning before they lunged and lashed at whatever they deemed a threat, especially if they thought the threat was armed or could potentially hurt them. They mostly kept to themselves before Sun and Moon found them, moving from place to place to squat for a few days before moving on. they’re very street smart! Being in a (mostly) stable living location was a huge struggle for them because they were so used to their routine of wander, find a place that’s secluded, stay there a while, and then move on to a new place. “Blankets and a bed? A warm building? Clean clothes? People who want to help and care about me? What’s that? I only know the cold, dark, dank streets with decrepit abandoned buildings to hide in and dangerous threats that must be hurt before they hurt me, sir!”

Of course after a while they very slowly calm down, their pain receptors are fixed so they aren’t in constant pain, they get some healthy outlets for their violent urges, and are generally much happier. They’re still wary towards strangers though, and they don’t work with kids like Sun and Moon do because it’s overwhelming for them.
