just realized my follower count has like... quadrupled in the past few months. meaning about 3/4 of y'all haven't experienced my vampire lore whore side that's been on hiatus :)

#o ho ho #out of the crypt it comes #it's dracula daily time again my friends #also i'm almost done with the next installment of my vampire comic #and ALSO i'm almost done with the script for one of my vampire video essays that was on hold for about a year #look 17th~19th century gothic literature is my jam #it's all about the metaphors #the social stigmas #the allegories #t; vampires #dracula is actually one of my least favorites #i have beef with bram stoker's portrayal of women #(his contemporaries were doing much better in that regard so no it wasn't just a different time it was just him) #and the whole second half of the book is a pacing mess #with an anticliamactic blink and you miss it ending #but the first half of the book? stunning incredible amazing showstopping #also renfield's whole part is so good #and quincy p morris #love our cowboy
