Russian Roulette update: Yassen's conversation with John towards the end of Командир (The Commander) genuinely made me tear up a bit. Y'all if I hadn't started shipping them at the start of Eagle Strike the first time I saw them interact this scene would've 100% convinced me because the way Yassen was so hesitant about working for Scopia at the start and had considered his other options, but now that John is tutoring him he desperately wants to prove his loyalty and competency. In the jungle John tells him he could leave if he wanted to, Scorpia had taught him enough about disguise - all this he had considered before himself, yet when John brings it up Yassen immediately shoots it down, becomes agitated. Why? Because he feels like John is questioning his competency. Remember what he said? "I can do this." John wants Yassen to not have to walk down the same path that he did, but ironically he is the reason Yassen even cares so much about succeeding in Scorpia in the first place. His cover worked a bit too well and now Yassen has a very fixed idea of who John is, and he will do anything to prove himself to his version of John.
You get it, right? The way they want completely different things out for each other, completely incompatible things, because they do not understand each other. These types of dynamics really just eat me up from the inside
#chaotic ramblings#alex rider#russian roulette#yassen gregorovich#john rider#man they really need a ship name i need SOMETHING to tag these posts with#the fact that yassen's relationship with john is very much personal to him even though he would never admit it#and it just so happens that to him john is basically an embodiment of scorpia#and he wants to impress john so by proxy he decides the best way to do that is to prove himself to scorpia#do you get it. do you get the dynamic#the tension in that scene was phenomenal i felt like i was reading fanfiction#which i suppose means that every fic author in this fandom does a wonderful job of capturing their relationship#just. the way yassen is so on edge whenever john says something about how he could still leave if he wanted to. before it's too late#the way he is so confused as to why john would bring this up because it doesnt fit with the very fixed idea he has in his mind about#who john is. the way he says “i killed some of them” as if to say see? i am like you. i can be like you. please give me a chance#his admiration for and attachment to john is so incredibly unhealthy which is unsurprising given that he has not had a normal#relationship of any sort since he was 14 and everyone he knew died#he wants so badly to be who he thinks john wants him to be. and that means that he will never be who he wants to be or who john wants him t#be or who he thinks john wants him to be. he is pursuing something that just doesn't exist#god i am so normal about these two

i do find it interesting how catra feels more guilty about the way she treated scorpia and entrapta, whom she knew for a few months or a year, at max, than she did about the way she treated adora, who was her best friend/sibling for as long as she could remember.
her face after she electrocutes entrapta says everything. while what she did was horrible, she did it out of impulse and was clearly horrified when she realized what she had done.
Tumblr media
later on, she gets nightmares about what she did to entrapta, clearly hammering in the guilt.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
she doesn't do anything about it, of course, but at least it's made obvious that catra knows that what she did was wrong. again, remember that catra never seemed to like entrapta all that much. even though entrapta considered catra her friend, catra always seemed to be impatient and annoyed with entrapta.
later, when scorpia tells catra that she's a bad friend, it hits harder than anything else anyone has ever told her.
Tumblr media
scorpia leaving was the straw that breaks the camel's back. this leads to her breakdown at the end of the season. this is the first time we see catra being truly devastated.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
which further hammers in the fact that scorpia was probably the only person catra truly cared about.
contrast this to her reaction when adora calls her out during the portal scene.
Tumblr media
she's not shocked, she doesn't look guilty, she looks angry. she further tries to fight adora, springing her at every chance until adora decks her in the face.
Tumblr media
and after the portal is closed, catra looks scared but still shows no remorse for what she did. in fact, in the last frame, she just looks determined. and it's clear by her next appearance that she does not give a single flying fuck about adora's feelings. she continues torturing adora with a smile on her face and prides herself on angella's death.
so yeah. if catra showed remorse for hurting entrapta and scorpia, it's not that she's completely apathetic or doesn't realize her flaws. it's that she doesn't respect adora as a person and does not feel bad for hurting and trying to kill her. again, reminder that they had been friends for their whole life. if the show writers really wanted to show us that catra always loved adora, they should have shown at least a hint of remorse in catra's behaviour regarding adora, prior to s5. but nah, who cares about good writing when your audience is gullible enough to believe whatever you tell them, right?

rewatching once upon a time in the waste makes me so emo dude. because catra was so, so much happier the second she got far away from the horde. no constant question if she would be replaced, no constant need to justify every action, no feeling like the only reason people respected her was because of her rank. scorpia had shown beyond a shadow of a doubt that she cared about her, genuinely. I think that's why she was so carefree in the wastes. she was away from the constant expectations, and someone was watching her back. she could take her damn time because hordak didn't expect it all under a short deadline. she had scorpia to look out for her, they could goof off because they had time to mess around and she didn't have to constantly prove every single bit of worth. she showed she could do shit and people listened.
and the part that gets me is catra denying that she's miserable in the horde. when...yeah, she is. she literally hated it there, she was constantly stressed, she was constantly on the verge of a breakdown and it was completely unsustainable. scorpia was genuinely stating the facts. she hated the horde. she felt safe in the wastes because there was so much less pressure and she had someone who had her back. without that "come back with results, or else." over her head, she was so much less on edge.
but she goes back, because letting shadow weaver get away with hurting her feels like admitting defeat. it would be the best for her mental health, no doubt. but all she sees is that shadow weaver HAS to pay for what she did, she has to make her hurt like she did because of her. shes so caught up in rage and hurt. she could've been happy. she was just too scared to. she wanted to make shadow weaver feel the hurt she did, and all that ended up doing was denying herself what she really wanted: to be safe and wanted.
scorpia chose catra. catra was just too blinded by the fact shadow weaver didn't to see it until it was almost too late. fuck, man.
made princess scorpia hit so much harder. scorpia tried so hard to help catra. but she cannot fix her problems if catra wasn't willing to change. catra had to make that choice herself. scorpia deserves to be treated well too, and seeing her realize that was so cathartic. and no matter how much I love catra I am SO glad scorpia got out. god I love this show.
basically s3 was so good and set up the rest of the show so well thank you for coming to my ted talk.

The Super Pal Pirates, for @phosphoruskim!!!
It was a lot of work getting these ladies coloured in, but it's probably the prettiest looking page in my drawing pad.
The problem with physical colouring is you strain your hands and the paper a lot and it still doesn't look right. It's possible I'm not using the best tools, or doing it in the best way, but I am getting used to the idea.
Anyway Kim and I have bonded a lot over Sea of Thieves and One Piece so they are pirates now. I am really proud of how Catra looks. Entrapta gets plenty of space because I drew her last and she deserves it. Catra's face and right arm took me forever but honestly Scorpia was the hardest to both draw and colour.

Catra, planning for Princess prom: OK so Scorpia is going to get us into the main hall to plant heat bombs. Lonnie you and Kyle will infiltrate through the back entrance, take out the guards, steal their clothes, and be in position for when Scorpia gives the signal. Meanwhile I will be having banter and homoerotic tension with my ex best friend... To distract her.
Lonnie: But isn't the dance already a distraction-
Catra: NO, because we have to be sure she's really...really distracted. Which I can only accomplish by dancing with her seductively.
Lonnie:... but wouldn't it be easier if-
Catra: NO ARGUMENTS Now let me put on my sexiest suit and we'll go.

My 6 favourite Scorptra + some little scenes I love
1. "You do care, don't tou?"
The scene that made Catra fully realize that she's not alone and that there is still someone who love her more than anything. Catra was everything for Scorpia.
And the most important thing is that Catra does the most selfless thing she could done: she refuses of Scorpia's help and doesn't let Scorpia set her free, bc she knows it can cause Scorpia troubles and she doesn't want to put Scorpia in the same situation. She doesn't want to be Like Shadow Weaver and doesn't want Scorpia to suffer bc of her.
Tumblr media
2. "We could, you know, be happy"
Catra was so stupid for not leaving with Scorpia and Ill stay by it. Also there is no "one-sided" explanation for this. Anyone who says Catra never loved Scorpia, litterally just skipped the entire episode. They were SO in love!
Especially considering the fact that they were suppose to kiss each other at that scene ans I will never forgive Nate for removimg it
Tumblr media
3. "You saved me?"
The moment when Catra's feelings for Scorpia startes to grow up. It's when Catra realize that Scorpia saved her, no matter what. Even tho Catra ordered Scorpia not to break the technology, Scorpia did it, bc it would save Catra. She disobeyed the order to protect her and you can read in Catra's eyes that she was shocked that she was THAT dear for someone. It makes even more sence when you remember Catra's words about Adora "You never protected me. Not in any way that would put you on SW's bad side". (no blame for Adora, she's still the best girl ofc) but the thing is that Adora wouldn't disobey to protect Catra from SW, but Scorpia did it and not once. Scorpia truly loved Catra and she would always do everything to protect her.
Tumblr media
4. "I will always be there for you"
Even tho Catra doesn't want to ask anyone for help and wants to do everything alone, Scorpia still makes her tell the situation to resolve it together. Bc that's what friends do, Catra doesn't have to deal with this alone.
Tumblr media
5. "You're a princess??"
Whatever the cat is this?? They were so iconic in the prom episode!
At first Catra was sympathetic with someone for the first time in the show lol. She asked Scorpia (to ask actually) to go to the prom together! It's already pretty romantic, but have you seen the rest of the scenes?
Also the screenboard where Catra zips Scorpia up lol (they really didn't have to remove it)
Tumblr media
6. "We're making a good team!"
Uhhh, just look at them here! They litterally THE girlfriends! Catra never was so flirty with anyone. She blushes as Amity lol. And just look at these EYES!!!
Tumblr media
Now heart-breaking scenes, cuz Im evil. S4 was so sad and for what? Im crying...
Tumblr media Tumblr media
But since Im not THAT bad, here are some sweet scenes again! Cuz they're still cuties (it was a crime not to give us them in s5 btw, Ill never forgive Nate for this) <3
Protective gfs ever!
Tumblr media
I really love Scorptra even after so many years. I need someone to rewatch she-ra with!!!

The Aftermath
The Beacon is a very... disjointed episode. It has the unfortunate placement of between two episodes that are, in my opinion, the two best that the show has to offer, and it doesn't matter how good this episode is, it suffers in the contrast.
The Beacon is trying to set up The Promise and still recovering from No Princess Left Behind, which means that it struggles to tie both together without feeling like a ton of disconnected events.
So, for the sake of analysis, let's look at those events on their own, and see what they do for the story as a whole. Because some of them are really well written.
Let me explain.
SPOILERS AHEAD
Tumblr media
Catra's moments in this episode are genuinely some of the best little moments for her in the series. We see her kind nature start to show, ever so slightly. She is not kind, I want to stress this, a few actions do not make a redemption (yet), but we start to plant the seeds of that here.
Tumblr media
In Entrapta's interrogation scene, we see Catra being manipulative, that much is obvious. But it's interesting how she does it. Catra doesn't belittle, or lie, or even seem disingenuous with her compliments, she is just aware that compliments lead to allegiances, and she is trying desperately to befriend the single smartest person on Etheria.
"You're not mad? People usually get mad." "Are you kidding?"
There is an empathy here with Catra. I mentioned in the previous post that everyone's greatest strength is their greatest weakness. And the same is true for Catra. She is exceedingly emotionally attuned. She sees herself in Entrapta, as the person left behind. The side effect of this is that she falls on her sword a bit when Adora leaves, but also in a weird, other way.
Tumblr media
"Don't worry about that thing with Hordack. I've got plenty of experience getting yelled at... you get used to it."
Catra is talking to Shadow Weaver here, of all people. Why? Because she sees a person feeling low, and offers some condolences. Without concern for who she is, or what she has done. Catra offers a hand of peace. I want to stress that empathy isn't a weakness, that's not how this works, but it makes her easy prey for Shadow Weaver, because Catra is a child, a teenager, who is naive, and Shadow Weaver is evil.
But how does Shadow Weaver return the openness that Catra has displayed?
Tumblr media
"I will not get used to mediocrity like you"
She returns kindness with an insult, and through her touch. Shadow Weaver desires power above all else, so when she is at her weakest, she tries to grab it from the one person she thinks she can mentally overpower.
This is why Catra is the way she is, any attempt at kindness is met with animosity for reasons she has no command in. But that little influence of Adora, and now Scorpia and even Entrapta, has kept the instinct alive. The empathy is there, just buried deep under the surface.
Tumblr media
"I just wanted to prepare you for the world"
I love that Shadow Weaver has worked out her tactics are failing on Catra, so she tries giving the Adora treatment to her, and even that fails. I think that's rather satisfying. I pity her, but it is definitely gratifying to see her this low.
Shadow Weaver fits the same bill as everyone else in the series (strengths and weaknesses being the same), but she forms a weird parallel with Bow of all people. Shadow Weaver thinks big picture, she is the strategist, and she gets undermined time and again by the tiny things, such as personal determination, and unconditional love. This parallel isn't dwelled upon, but it's a neat thing to point out that Shadow Weaver's opposite isn't Catra or Adora, but Bow.
Tumblr media
Speaking of Bow. The man is supportive of everyone, similarly to Sea Hawk. Bow still thinks big picture, but the difference between him and Shadow Weaver is that when Bow meets a wall, instead of thinking of a way to break it down, he finds another route. Bow is a strategist of the heart, making sure everyone is at their best and ready to step in to keep people's moral up, should they need it.
I also really like Glimmer's line:
"Your sorry is wrong and mine is right."
I think this is extremely revelatory about Glimmer, but that won't come up for a while.
Tumblr media
Finally, there is Adora.
Under stress, she reverts. This is what Shadow Weaver did to her, she gave her a few set behaviours in response to certain stimuli. Notably, when scared, punch what I tell you. Shadow Weaver isn't here to give a target, so Adora decks the first thing she can get her hands on. Namely, this light.
There are other sections in the episode when she is in the background of other shots. And instead of just standing there, and looking apathetic, she shadow boxes. Adora cannot focus when she's directionless.
So naturally, she jumps at the opportunity to heal Glimmer, including possibly stabbing her, just to feel useful. Again, preprogrammed responses. She needs to feel useful, so she will run towards whomever is offering her that purpose.
Tumblr media
"You want me to be weak? Well (Throws Sword), I am"
This leads into the above line. Adora believes she needs to be weak, and the first thing she does to achieve that is return to her original form and throw away her sword. Adora has associated strength with ability to achieve a given task. In this case, heal.
But the fascinating thing is how she goes about the accountability of failing. She has a weird internalisation of good things being She-Ra's fault, and bad things being Adora's fault. It's awful.
Tumblr media
I'm going to finish this on a mildly happy note, because Glimmer and Angella have a really sweet interaction in this episode. Its the reassurance that a parent figure can offer. She offers support, and affirmation that this may not have worked, but it wasn't because of Glimmer's ideals, but her methods, which can be worked on.
Compare the following two lines.
"I will not get used to mediocrity like you" "We'll figure it out, together."
I have boldened a few words, because they reveal character quite nicely. One tries to separate the speaker from its subject, complete with an insult and a comparison, the other is supportive and constructive, and strives to make the listener understand this fact. Angella is a great mum.
Tumblr media
Final Thoughts
This episode isn't particularly memorable. Which isn't its own fault. It is sandwiched by The Promise and No Princess Left Behind, which both render it rather uninspiring.
But this episode is actually quite decent. Its moments string together cohesively enough, and Marcus Scribner (Bow's Voice Actor) kills every line.
However, that opening sequence steals the show for me, as everyone leaves on their own way. That was why Entrapta's fake out death doesn't feel cheap. It actually hurts these people, and they don't get over it. This is a death that has its cake and eats it too, and that's a difficult thing to pull off. I think the thing that sells it is this is the only scene so far in the show (I think) in which Sea Hawk stays quiet, the events of the previous episode have managed to make the bard stop singing.

Tonight I’m sitting in my bed thinking about how I will never see Willow season 2. I will never get to see more of Airk and Kit’s relationship, I will never see Scorpia again, I will never get to see more of Kit fighting in the cuirass.
But also more importantly, I won’t get to see the cast together. After watching the documentary it really cemented in my mind how much of a family the actors became. How they totally and completely brightened each other.
How rotten it is to be forever wondering what could have been. All because the greed of a corporation decided to erase the best television I have ever watched.

Willow really was like we’re going to give you some of the best and wildest sibling dynamics you’ve ever seen. The Tanthalos twins? With all the teasing and “are you sure it wasn’t a dove?” and “Kit I’m not going anywhere” and the way the whole quest is Kit setting off seeking her brother to save him and Airk not hesitating to dive into the pool to reach for her and the heart break of “I’m your king” and then to Kit begging him to come back to her and her “I’ve got you” and it working. Phenomenal epic heartbreaking beautiful all the stars. Kit and Boorman? The older brother Kit didn’t even know she had who is a whole disaster “Boorman you cheddar headed goob” but trying so hard to fix things and atone and Kit doesn’t even know until the finding out “You were his squire. And you left him to die.” To him giving her the armour, and telling her she can do it. Giving her his belief in her. Amazing I love it. Jade and Scorpia, the long lost siblings, the way basically their first interaction is to brawl in the leaf litter and then the soft way Scorpia tells Jade that she used to count the stars before she fell asleep to make sure there they were all still there. The tension in what Jade’ll do now, whether she’ll come live with the Bone Reavers, how it will affect her relationships with Tir Asleen and Kit and Sorsha and Ballentine and all, all of that, delicious. But the sisters. I love them, love all of them, the way these aren’t even all the examples, Kit and Elora I could write about for days, etc. Love them love the variety, love the humour, love the heartfelt

i think it's so interesting how different book!yassen and tv!yassen are.
first off how book!yassen sent alex to scorpia, it was a mistake because he wasn't thinking clearly. tv!yassen did it on purpose (to the best of my knowledge).
book!yassen did not want alex to kill. he tells him this twice, “killing is for grown ups.” and asking alex if he can really pull the trigger and shoot him, when alex breaks into the boat during eagle strike. going into great detail to dissuade alex from doing it, and all of me believes not just because yassen didn't want to die in this moment. this makes sense for book!yassen because he himself didn't want to kill. so he's trying to save alex from his own fate.
tv!show yassen doesn't seem to have any issues with killing. he doesn't particularly enjoy it, but it's his job and he does what he has to do so he can survive. so he's okay with encouraging alex to do it. by telling him he should view the people he's assigned to assassinate as nothing more than targets. tricking him into helping assassinate max. encouraging him to let go of his emotions. he wants alex to join him by his side.
ultimately while their methods are different, their end goals are the same. they both want to protect alex. book!yassen thinks he can achieve this by pushing alex away, and tv!show yassen thinks he can achieve this by pulling alex in closer. and both work because they're so compelling.

what's so frustrating about catra's arc is just how many wakeup calls she gets in the series and how most of them hit the nail on the head until s5 rolls around and is like “um actually we were wrong, none of this is catra's fault”.
glimmer is the first person who doesn't hesitate to call catra out for her actions. while adora still considers catra as her friend and bow is not really one for verbal banter, glimmer says that adora didn't leave the horde, she left catra. while this wasn't what happened, we can see how it could easily be the case, considering that catra's abuse could have very well steered adora away from the horde.
later on, entrapta tries to convince catra that opening the portal and risking the lives of thousands of people just for one is not the best idea.
then we get the iconic portal scene which starts the domino effect. adora is sick of being blamed for all of catra's actions and finally calls her out. shortly after this, we see how lonnie, kyle and rogelio start to get disillusioned with the horde with the way catra is treating them. scorpia, who had stuck around for so long, finally leaves after telling catra that she's a bad friend.
the final blow was double trouble's speech, though it was a little incorrect and victim blamey. you would think that after all these characters called out catra for being selfish, cruel and toxic, she would either get a good redemption arc or she would face the consequences of not taking responsibility for her actions.
she doesn't. the closest catra comes to even acknowledging her actions is the whole “me? all i do is hurt people”. which is still a gross understatement. i've seen many horrible people do this, where they use very vague terms like “i made a mistake” or “i hurt people” to downplay the severity of their actions. “hurting people” can fall anywhere on the scale of accidentally stepping on someone's foot to killing their entire bloodline.
so yeah. all this build up for nothing. all these characters pinpointed out catra's worst traits, only for the writers to go and erase all of that in s5 because they were too lazy and incompetent to write a good redemption arc.

I love She-ra. This show really made me smile, laugh, cry and love every character so freaking much. It taught me a lot of things about forgiviness, healing and definitely inspired me to be a better person. I really wish i could rewatch this show for the first time again because it's one of the greatest feelings i've ever experienced in my life. I remember when i finished to watch the show for the first time i felt so empty, i wanted to see more. I wanted to see Catra and Adora healing from their trauma and being happy together. I wanted to see Catra bonding with the princesses and building a friendship with them. I wanted to see Scorpia finally being happy, confident and feeling good enough in an enviroment where she is loved for who she is. I wanted to see Scorpia and Perfuma being happy together. I wanted to see Kyle, Lonnie and Rogelio again. I wanted to see them and catradora starting over again and being friends, maybe not like they used to be back then when they were kids but like a new fresh start i guess. I wanted to see Mermista and Sea Hawk playing detectives and solving mermysteries together again with the rest of princesses. I wanted to see Catra playing mermysteries. I wanted to see Spinetossa being happy together. I wanted to see glitra getting closer and acting like sisters sometimes because i know they would argue over dumb things, piss each other off constantly for fun and teaming up to make pranks on Adora, Bow and the rest of people. I wanted to see glimbow...my glimbow being happy together. I wanted to see Micah and Casta's dynamic and i wanted to see how Catra would bond with them. I wanted to hear Catra saying "Hey, Adora" again. I wanted to hear Adora saying "I love you, Catra". I wanted to see Glimmer saying "fuck you" at least 1 damn time. I wanted to see how glitra would get over their past and heal together. I wanted to see catradora kissing again. I wanted to see the best friend squad having a sleepover. I wanted them. I still do. I love them.
I watched this tiktok after finishing the show. I remember i started crying so bad. I love and miss them and i will love and miss them forever.

I'm talking with @phosphoricbomb about shera fight scenes.
Our conclusion is:
shera has maybe 2 good fight scenes
catra has the best fight scenes in the show, every fight she's in is way ahead of other characters, and it's because she is always legitimately struggling and going hard
adora's fight scenes range from wonderful (save the cat) to completely unimpactful (...every non-catra fight scene before season 5)
glimmer has the best fight scenes of the rebellion characters, she really goes for it and uses her powers
the other princesses have NO good fight scenes, apart from scorpia, whose only good fight scenes are the ones that dont involve actual fighting (such as, connecting to the black garnet for the first time)
the best fight in the series is catra vs hordak at end of season 4, it's a brilliant blend of tragic, brutal, and cathartic, and i do think destiny part 2 is the best final episode of any season

How do you think, what did Scorpia find in Catra? Ive never really understand this thing. If Catra's love to Scorpia did make sence cuz she was the first person who actually really cared about her and made her happy, then with Scorpia it doesn't really make sence. Catra never treated Scorpia good before and doesn't really have any good personality traits. So I just don't get it, why did Scorpia fall in love with Catra?
I really don't get what anyone sees in Catra. I mean Catra was kinda nice to Scropia? At certain times? But for the most part, she saw Scropia as a sidekick at best and a nuisance at worst, someone to do the stuff she didn't wanna do. So I don't get it

She-Ra cast as drinking buddies
Adora - She's great. Friendly and eager and up for anything. Hope you like to talk about horses, though. Try to keep her away from arm wrestling or that's what you're doing the rest of the evening.
Glimmer - She's an angry drunk. Or a happy drunk. Or a crying drunk. Or she challenges everyone in the bar on dart. Whatever she does, she'll do it with a hundred percent intensity. If someone picks a fight with you, you'll have to hold her back before she smashes a bottle and cuts a bitch.
Bow - He's everyones bestest buddie. He will pay for the drinks, listen to your rants, hold up your head over the toilet and help rain in Glimmer.
Catra - She's really guarded at first, but when the inhibitions drops either the claws or the tears come out. Step very carefully around her. Also, if she wants to have your jacket, it's her jacket now.
Scorpia - She's a delight. Friendly and considerate and a good listener. Although there is this feeling that she has some stuff of her own she's just dying to talk to someone about… if you open the floodgates, be prepared for a lot of tears and to listen for the next few hours.
Entrapta - Let's be honest - she won't listen to a word you say and she'll most likely have dismantled the beer pump and invented a new kind of drink before the evening is over, but you won't be bored.
Mermista - Surprisingly good company, once you get past the attitude. Keeps the drinks coming and have some good stories between all the 'Uuuuuughs'.
Sea Hawk - Life of the party. Shanties and drinks and arm wrestling. It's fun to have fun with frieeeeeends. Will probably have set something on fire and got you kicked out (unrelated incidents) before the evening is over, and never shuts up about Mermiiiiiiiista.
Swift Wind (did someone say Swift Wind?) - Pair him with Adora or Sea Hawk and no net amount of brain cells will have been added to the party. Up for anything and a good sport, though. Expect singing.
Perfuma - Friendly and considerate and works really hard to be a good listener, but if you just want a drink and some chit-chats rather than a group therapy session she's a bit too much. Try to appeal to her inner theatre kid to channel her energies into something more entertaining.
Netossa - PUT THE JÄGERMEISTER AWAY! EVERYTHING DOESN'T NEED TO BE A COMPETITION!
Spinnerella - The team mom makes sure everyone has a good time and stays hydrated.
Frosta - Thinks it's super unfair that she isn't allowed to drink. Still, if you get her to settle down in the juice bar she can be tons of fun.
Castaspella - Fruit drinks and party hats for everyone! Better step up your game, because everyone's friendly wine aunt won't let anyone be bored.
Shadow Weaver - The drinks are bad and the atmosphere is worse and you are beneath her notice. If you can get through her barrage of insults and appeal to her pride, she has the best stories though. Don't expect to come out of it unscarred.
Hordak - He will sit stiff, uncomfortable and completely silent for three drinks, and then he will speak in monotone voice with increasing amount of rage about the injustices he has suffered. Someone might die before the night is over, but it will sure be memorable
Horde Prime - Wonderful company - if your idea of a good time is hearing a narcisist yap on about himself and demand your constant attention. Otherwise, prepare to have a lousy time. Don't leave your drinks alone with him at any time.
Wrong Hordak - LOOK BROTHER, I'M PARTAKING! chugs beer LOOK, BROTHER! DO YOU SEE ME PARTAKE?
Imp - WHO LET THAT LITTLE SHIT INTO THE BAR? Good luck catching him when he zooms around the ceiling.
Emily - I'll be honest, I didn't know robots could drink. Neither did I know they can DISCO, but Emily proves me wrong on both counts.
Angella - Good luck getting her to settle down and relax. No, Angella, the fact that you heard a siren doesn't mean Glimmer has set something on fire (we hope, at least). Has no idea how the social codes are supposed to work, but likes to feel included.
Micah - At home in any company and a great listener. If you're lucky you'll get some stories out of him that will start with "Oh, it's nothing special. We all have that evil teacher that tricked you into helping her kill the entire senior faculty, right?" and spirals from there.
Juliet - The royal guard is never off duty. She might haul you off to cool down if you get too rowdy, but that's it.
Rogelio - Great listener, but not that good a conversationalist.
Kyle - Goddamit, Kyle!
Lonnie - Yes, Lonnie, you can drink more than me. Yes, Lonnie, you can arm wrestle me. No, Lonnie, I wasn't trying to start any shit with Kyle. Sorry, Lonnie, I'll stay out of your way.
Double Trouble - "Hey, you know what would be REALLY funny. If you distract the bartender, I'll… do a thing. No, don't worry about it. Just a thing. It will be funny."
Huntara - Two rules in the Crimson Waste, where one is not to disturb her as she drinks. If you're on her in-list, prepare to have a good time. If you're not, step carefully around her.
Tung Lashor - Sometimes all you want is someone to chug beer and shout the refrains to some stupid songs with. Just keep him away from cats.
Octavia - You know what, better keep her away from cats as well.
