growing up is realizing the weak ending of your original-universe story from jr high was actually only the middle of a much grander, more satisfying tale

#goddamnit i finally figured it out #it had such a pathetic ending. nothing resolved. #it took getting to my 30s and all the experience that came with it to show me #much as i thought my 20s would be the end of my life and was wrong... i thought that story would just have a shitty ending #bc it seemed hopeless that i would ever tie together the pieces into a solid plot that could have a satisfying ending #but ive tied together the frayed ends of my mental health and Lived On #so too will i tie together His. #it doesnt have to end that way Makumi.... there's still time. so long as you yet live there can be justice served and closure gained #whether or not i kept that as ur name in the end. literally still on the fence abt it to this day #in late high school i came to terms my fake japanese OC names sounded kinda stupid and changed a lot of em #now as an older person i find them sorta endearing and wanna just bring them back lol #stupid shit
