spending all my time making silly little edits has finally proven worth it

#guess who made it to the amv competition finale of a con im attending later this month :3c #the gmv i made for it is far from my best work but this is just the beginning for me #i have another gmv in the making but i'm working on it bit by bit. it was originally something a friend suggested i make as a joke but #uh. it stopped being the length of a silly little edit so i turned it into a gmv #but i cant enter it anywhere until FALL this year bc the con im currently going to have my gmv shown at #is held twice a year. and the next time for it would be summer. but the gmv im working on is bg3 and thats not an allowed source material #for that con. up until recently they did NOT accept anything but anime music videos to their amv competitions which. #but in the recent years theyve expanded it to ''east or southeast asian media'' #so. cant enter it there. #but it's fine im in no hurry to finish the gmv anyways so i can wait until fall to enter it into another con's amv thing #leevi talks #also i know we're all nerds here but being like a con goer cosplay AND amv nerd on this site feels embarrassing #like. it's mortifying here. i feel like i'll get bullied off the site. which is weird considering that idc if ppl irl know that about me
