the most expensive pen i owned used to be my benu briolette in luminous snowy peak

i bought it on sale because it had a matching icy pen stand and glows in the dark. i consider it fortress of solitude themed, which i don't think is intended. it's tacky as all hell. i keep it filled with ferris wheel press april showers, because it's sparkly and looks like a cloudy day. it has never clogged or dried up no matter how long i neglect it. writes like a dream. as pens go it's not considered that expensive but to ME it's expensive and that makes me mad about how worth it it is. i bought this pen with a payment plan because i love mistakes.

however the most expensive pen i own is now this lamy safari

it's limited edition and had to be imported from hong kong. i lusted after it for so long that three different people pitched in to buy it for my birthday. i keep ferris wheel press pink sugar beach in this one and it sits on my desk at work. it is indistinguishable from a regular cheap lamy safari except that it's jigglypuff themed.
