Stray thoughts about Oreca Battle

I am still pretty surprised by corocoro uploading Oreca Battle manga for free tbh- But it also got me thinking,

Why?

Why suddenly releasing them now? This year? 2023?? Since September??? It made me suspicious af tbh-

Here are some reasons I could think of and I wanna talk about it, even if it sounds like pure gibberish-

1. Celebrating the iOS app getting the implementation for the New Chapter series?

I don't really know when the iOS version was released, but it have been getting a lot of supports from the Japanese fans Especially after Konami stopped giving supports to the arcade version-

In fact, they have started to implement the characters from the New Chapters series pretty recently, which receive a very warm response from the Japanese fans

2. Raising awareness for Ore'n

As some people know, Konami are planning to make a spiritual sequel to Oreca Battle, which is called Ore'n

The game is currently in Beta testing, but it have been getting a lot of positive response from the Japanese Oreca Battle fans

3. A possibility for new season of Oreca Battle's anime???

This one feels very unlikely, but if you remember about the interest check polling event that the iOS app held at the start of this year, you might remember some questions they added at their questionnaire I don't remember much, but I remember some of the points are being,

"Please check on the following option on what you're most interested with,"

"Android version of Oreca Battle"

"Implementation of the New Chapters series for the current app"

"Season 2 of the anime"

And yes, I still remember these 3 points very vividly Because I sneaked in to their questionnaire-

And so far, they are actually granting all of these points one by one- With the implementation of New Chapter series, Ore'n development as well,

So... the possibility for a new Oreca Battle anime... is not zero! This might be a sign, bruh- I don't want to be too delusional, but this might have been a sign-
