Love the Willow series but I honestly couldn't get on board with Kit's brother, Arik. He feels like a plot device more than a character I care about or am invested in.

The playboy-prince-who-also-has-a-heart angle the show was trying to play with his character just felt really cheap to me?

On the positive side:

I did really like the twist at the end of episode seven, well done.

I haven't watched episode eight yet so maybe I'll feel better about Arik's character after finishing that.
