just off the top of my head I’ll give you a few rambles

- he’s still not very good at showing affection even after gaining a new identity. he doesn’t show it with words or gentle touches, but the fact he’s always by your side really speaks volumes on how much you mean to him. aka, I think his love language (giving) is quality time and acts of service

- on the other hand, I think what he needs from someone is physical touch and words of affirmation. he’s never been loved in his life, he’s not used to soft spoken confessions or lingering touches, but boy does he melt when you stroke his hair and whisper that you love him in his ear. please please just pepper kisses all over his face. he might tell you you’re annoying but he never makes a move to push you away

- scara has nightmares, but instead of reliving his past, they now focus on losing you. he’s extra grouchy in the morning and refuses to tell you when he has a bad night of sleep if you don’t wake up from the way he trembles and stifles his heavy breathing. you don’t ask when he’s suddenly glued to you, not once letting go of your hand and glaring at you when you suggest for him to do so. just let him have this, if he doesn’t let you go, you won’t have a chance to leave

- scara is surprisingly a good cook, and he will (unprompted) make your favourite meals if he thinks you’re in a bad mood. he doesn’t say anything, just silently slides the plate/bowl towards you with an expectant look on his face. and when you take that first bite and your eyes light up, he can’t help the small, rare smile. he covers this up with teasing of course, but still - he’s genuinely happy you enjoy his food

- speaking of teasing, he’s playful most of the time but because;;;; it’s scara;;;; sometimes he takes things too far. he has no idea how to react when you suddenly shut yourself off if he’s struck a nerve, so he’ll leave you alone for a while, only to come back with a small, messy bundle of flowers. he shoves them in your hands wordlessly and mumbles a very, very quiet ‘I’m sorry.’ He’s trying his best.

Had a fantastic day in New York. Went to MOMA to see Starry Night and then to FAO Schwarz to style my own Barbie.

Finally crashed at my cousin's and we went to The Stonewall Inn where I got to see an awesome drag show by the fabulous Selma Nilla. It was an absolute dream of the day and completely worth the blisters and sore joints lol.

Actually no I’m not done giggling and kicking my feet about Mr. Qi, hear me out

I have this head canon that he is incredibly touch starved.

He makes it a challenge just to see him for the first time, not to mention the hoops the farmer has to jump through to gain access to the Walnut Room. And with that intimidating aura he kind of has, something tells me he doesn’t get a lot of physical interaction.

So insert farmer who gradually becomes his friend (and would like to be more), who makes it clear that they are okay with friendly/casual touches; and Mr. Qi goes from standing up straight with his arms behind his back, to always having his hands on you as soon as you walk through the door.

Like, it’s like a switch flipped. He used to come off as almost scary, but now there is always an arm over your shoulder or holding your hands while he waxes poetic or giving advice. Personal bubble be damned, if you give him permission, he is always in your space.

But listen; should the farmer start entering his space? Grabbing his hand or leaning on him? Qi’s heart soars and it is one of the few times you can see it on his face. The man practically crushes you in a hug before you leave the casino or the Walnut room that day. (Well, I’m not sure about the casino, I get the feeling he might show some restraint in front of the other patrons. But be warned, that hug is coming for you as soon as the time is right.)

Any romantic relationship with Mr. Qi is going to be heavy with physical contact. If you want space, you are gonna have to ask for it. Silly blue man’s most intimate love language is touch.

I know the people who’ve sent asks previously who’ve been left unanswered have probably moved on by now

all I want to say is - I’m sorry for not being more consistent and I just hope you’re still here with me.

It feels very lonely on tumblr these days. I feel like maybe I don’t belong here. I’ve felt that way for a while but recently it’s increased ten fold.

I’m sorry for not being good enough with consistency. I’m trying. But getting out of bed most days is something I can’t achieve right now, so consistency is very hard. I’m sorry. Again.

I hope some of you out there still like my work. I’ll be posting either today, tomorrow, or the weekend, if all goes according to plan.

Hopefully it doesn’t completely miss the mark and if it does, I’m sorry.
