Today I woke up on the couch. All lights were off. I had breakfast even though there wasn't much in the fridge

I walked past the coffee table. The dollie is still draped over with clutter on top (a mess as usual). And I went out alone, for a walk in the woods.

The hill is quiet. Peaceful.

Been going there a lot lately.

Heard something

Footsteps made by someone who doesn't exist.

It feels like there's a piece missing that's hard to place.

Dad hasn't called since last spring. Mom hasn't called at all.
