my one complaint about daredevils parkour scenes is sir how the HELL are you doing that in dress shoes

and also that matt for someone whos trying to catch someone as quick as possible and move quickly doing flips off like 5 feet platforms instead of a simple safety tap seems counter productive

you see that's when you have to counter in the fact that matt's canonically dramatic. he also does everything in excess. also, he's kinda weird. also i'm pretty sure he does enjoy flippin' around for no reason 'cause he knows he'll keep up better without the flips but he also knows he'll keep up just fine with them so why not.

besides the point but flashback to that part in soule's run where he specifically let a criminal run from him just because he missed that specific part of the city and wanted a chase lmao

matt murdock having a tail that can move/is sentient for no reason should be cannon to the comics, because comics is the one medium where people wouldnt care

actually yeah. my favourite part about this is that it's a very usual thing for fanartists to do. like yeah. they get that character. and i think it should be added to the comics with no comment from the artist.

the only downside to this is that matt is iconic matrix movie shot prone to good things happening to him and therefore his tail would always be between his legs or dragging send tweet

ok motivated myself to watch the daredevil show wow matt sure is committing alot of violence and torture for a christian

my favourite part about his character!! this ask feels very jokey but im gonna get all analytical rq; i think it's interesting that matt genuinely and wholeheartedly believes both his lives are the way they are to serve god. he believes he got his power to be god's soldier, he believes he got his power to listen to people's prayers and answer them himself both as a lawyer (the way that adheres to scripture) and as a vigilante (when the law fails). this is even more interesting when you consider the fact that he genuinely also believes he's an inherently better person than most because of his power, his life experiences and what he can do (proven by something he said in season three that i wont spoil tehe).

i will admit unlike 90% of daredevil fans i only read the comics and have watched 3 episodes of the netflix series

that's fair honestly and as someone who's watched all of it four (?) times and has read most the dd comic runs id recommend the tv show but mainly because 1) karen is an actual person and 2) matt is a lot less sociopathic
