The calm voice that had addressed her before is accompanied by an equally as calm expression, blue eyes resting upon her form before that clear gaze flicks back over to the contents of the map; The highlighted objects reflect in his dark pupils as Khan takes in the sight, posture perfect and straight, arms resting against his sides as he allows himself to blink once.

---He's usually assigned to engineering (or security, if the situation requires his extraordinary abilities to be present), yet, with Khan's fascination for literally everything that exists on board of this ship - including a rather strong liking for science as well - the sight of that map, the work of that woman, intrigues him.

There's no malice, no judgement existing within that sonorous voice speaking up once more, just a deep honesty that's easily carried by the still existing calm clinging to Khan's frame. He reaches out, fingers hovering in the air, as he starts to turn the map in between them this and that way, watching the constellations and highlighted dangers existing within the nebula, "---Or, if you were to prefer to remain working: Change perspective. Just like this, perhaps."

Once more, the map is turned, flipped even, followed by Khan's own head tilting to the side as he does, intrigued. Focused. This is not his division and yet here he is. "Allow me to compare this moment with something much more mundane: Creating art. When working on a piece of art, it helps to flip the image both horizontally as well as vertically as often as possible, as it forces tired eyes to look at drawn lines from a different perspective, even though the finished piece is not necessarily meant to ever be displayed while being flipped the wrong way."

SHE KIND OF SCARES HIM ; in the same vein that she impresses him too. Clint and Janice have had to become fast friends due to his promotion and her position working with Jim. The security chief has a healthy respect for the woman, but the part of that fear is when they've got to talk work. Namely when Clint has to float something by Jim and he loves the Captain, loves Jim like a brother, and that's part of his issue. Sometimes, he has to get Jim to sign things or do things or be on opposite ends of a decision.

The real issue is that sometimes the men get caught up in other things. So much so that Clint ends up not bringing up a denial of permission for this or that. Or any point they might not agree on. It's one of those issues where the very serious way that Clint approaches secruity has to pop up and he's not the fun guy who support Jim over anything kind of guy.
