Me and Mrs. Jones
We got a thing going on
We both know that it's wrong
But it's much too strong to let it go now
We meet every day at the same cafe
Six-thirty, and no one knows she'll be there
Holding hands, making all kinds of plans
While the jukebox plays our favorite song
Me and Mrs., Mrs. Jones
Mrs. Jones, Mrs. Jones, Mrs. Jones
We got a thing going on
We both know that it's wrong
But it's much too strong to let it go now
We got be extra careful
That we don't bill our hopes up too high
Cause she's got her own obligation
And so, and so you are
Me and Mrs. Mrs. Jones
Mrs, Jones, Mrs Jones, Mrs. Jones
We got a thing going on
We both know that it's wrong
But it's much too strong to let it go now
Well it's time for us to be leaving
It hurts so much, it hurts so much inside
Now she'll go her way and I'll go mine
But tomorrow we'll meet at the same place, the same time
Me and Mrs. Mrs. Jones
Mrs. Jones, Mrs. Jones, Mrs. Jones
We've got a thing going on
We've gotta be extra careful (Thing going on)
We can't afford to build our hopes up too high
I wanna meet (Thing going on)
And talk with you
At the same place
The same café
The same time
And we're gonna hold hands like we used to
We're gonna talk it over, talk it over
(Thing going on)
We know, they know
And you know and I know that it was wrong
Well I don't think it's wrong
We gotta let it go now
We got a thing going on, a thing going on

So working on the DS meta fic a few nights ago reminded me of something I'd thought of for my AU before, but completely forgot about till last night.
Basically, Stephen and Clea are in a jazz club when the live band begins playing/singing "Me and Mrs. Jones" by Billy Paul. Clea loves it and this conversation happens;
Clea: When I find a man, I want to make this our song.
Stephen: (looks at her perplexed) You know this song's about a woman cheating on her husband, right?
Clea: Well, whoever said one's song needs to be conventional. It's the thought that counts.
Stephen likes her response and in it's in this moment that he starts to realize he's starting to (slowly) fall for her. Or at least the first time he acknowledges it.
Wong is aware of this, and will often tease Stephen about being, "An idiot who fell in love to a song about adultery."
