today i was energetic on a topic around some friends. maybe too energetic? i never know. getting the balance of this right is hard, or maybe it just feels hard? i'm worried about how they perceived me. i didn't even care about the topic it just had some interesting moments and that adds to my confusion of perception. reminder: highly unlikely that others are thinking about this even 10% of what i am. or are they? surely others have empty time to think. this circle could continue forever.

my psychologist tells me about emotional disregulation. we talk about anger. i debate feeling-vs-expression. still unsure of some of it. some of the other stuff makes sense. i don't know how to say that i'm fine with slow progress and i don't need outcomes every time. the core of the conundrum/story is easy enough: get hurt -> find ways so that people can't hurt you -> fuck up emotional balance -> hurt people. i hate it all. it continues.

i have things i want to write but the ability to think clearly doesn't come often. i have thoughts-in-progress about lw/ea things. i have thoughts that are more completed but just as unwritten about the last couple of years. a short set of thoughts around community and communication. i want to write about memory. i want to write about every one of you.

stressed and anxious. i have a list of techniques to use and usually they work but every now and then - maybe every 2 months? it's not like i keep a good diary - things are worse and i burn through them all without effect. fortunately it's night time so i can always use the most powerful of them all: stay awake until exhaustion wins. i haven't missed a day in maybe six months but tomorrow isn't looking great. it continues.

interests in the last few days: knife sharpening stones, the upcoming alw season (the silliest of silly seasons), watching crimes of the future (subtitle: [squelching]), stressing, meta-stressing, &etc
