Happy BFSN and Finale Night My Loves <3 

I don’t tend to post pictures of myself so I’ve never done this before. But a little something about me, every day I take a few minutes first thing in the morning to write down five things that I’m grateful for.

This little note is from 7-28-2019, which was the day I posted the first chapter of “Life as We Know It”. Back then, I don’t think I ever imagined that I would’ve found a place in this fandom and met so many people who have genuinely changed me for the better. This little corner of the fandom, the one we’ve carved out together has become such a bright spot in what has been a weird and hard year. I cannot begin to tell you all how grateful I am for you all. I’ve learned from you, grown from you and consider you all to be my friends. I’m honestly not really going to talk much about the show because this feels so much bigger than that. I’m sad it’s ending and it feels weird but no matter how bad it is, I’m grateful that it brought me to all of you. Reading your thoughts, your spec, your writing and getting to know each of you has been a blessing in itself. Thank you for the encouragement, the kind comments, the shoulders to cry on, the lessons you’ve all taught me and the conversations we’ve had in the middle. I am better for know you all and will always be grateful for this season in life. 

A separate thank you to @t100fic-for-blm for allowing me the gift of being part of something bigger, and giving me the opportunity to give back to such an important cause through doing something that I love. It has been such a meaningful thing to see this fandom come together for something good. 

And thank you to everyone who has nominated me for @bellarkeficawards the idea that people like my writing is hard for me to wrap my head around sometimes. It’s genuinely emotional and so so touching, thank you for taking the time to read my words and to vote. There’s so much incredible talent in this fandom, and I have grown so much through reading the works of others and from the kindness of having people beta for me and leave comments that on more than one occasion have made me cry happy tears. 

This show has had its highs and lows, but isn’t it crazy to think that we’re all here because of two characters and a spark we all saw and felt? Screw Jason, I don’t care what he says. That’s so beautiful. The love of two fictional characters has the power to bring people together. It’s our story now y’all. 

I’m sticking around, I’ll still write. But may we all meet again, for a show that will be kinder to us.

I had an entire paragraph written out about today’s bullshit and how petty & disgusting is it for a showrunner to be openly disrespectful towards the male lead of his show - then I made myself a big cup of tea, ate a cookie, and realized I don’t wanna waste any more of my time talking about how despicable of a person jrot is, SO. That’s that. Karma is a bitch and the world is watching!!

Okay. It's really here folks!!! The last ever season :( I haven't seen 7x01 yet but Clarke burning sanctum down to the ground and finally letting her feelings out? Fuck yeah.

Although my hope for this season dwindles with every bit of new info, I will never forget the memories I've made along the way with you all. From the heartbreak to the happy, we've done it together and it's an honor to scream about everything with all of you on the internet. I’m glad I get to share this wild ride with yall ❤

On a personal note, Ramadan is 2 days from being over AKA Eid is this weekend!!! Up there is a classic picture of my cat hogging my comforter and another of the India necklace I ordered for myself! I've been wearing it every day since it arrived, it's perfect and I loveeee it.

OKAY, I clearly do not know how to use tumblr on my computer cause I’m just SO used to being on my phone--BUT HERE WE ARE. WOW. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ We made it!!!  I was tagged by @igotbellarkeforthat, so thank you bb 🖤 I posted earlier that I didn’t know that I would be this emotional, BUT (again) HERE WE ARE. Someone wrote “Last BFSN” and I about cried. I’m kind of in the peripheral of the fandom (and I’m quite happy here), but I really love all y’all, and all of the positive and supportive interactions I see--just does somethin to my heart, you know? This has been a RIDE, y’all. An actual RIDE. Am I upset about some things? Absolutely. Happy BFSN, peeps!

What can I say? It's been a while since I've participated in BFSN and since then, things have gone wild! Be it in my own life or on a global scale, there are so many challenges everywhere that it's easy to become overwhelmed by the sheer neverending amount of it.

However, I'm certain we'll get through this like the fighters we are. Battered and bruised maybe probably but alive, and stronger and wiser.

I hope everyone is well, safe, and healthy, and you all stay that way, and that us coming together at least once a week gives everyone at least a bit of normalcy.

To help with that, have those lucky dwarves in my photo as a charm! I encountered them on my bicycle tour in the middle of the forest the other day. Today, I moved back to college because I'm a RA so I had to move back early for training, so I'm currently unpacking (peep the MFM ssdgm poster in the back of the pic). It's my first year as an RA, so wish me luck bc I'm pretty nervous.

I'm hoping in this episode we will maybe get some of the things from the trailer we haven't gotten so far (aka Bellamy getting guns and the "you called me everyday on the radio for 6 years but left me in the fighting pits to die"). They probably cut that line but I'm crossing my fingers that we'll get a good bellarke chat. I don't think they'll be a bellarke confession this episode but a girl can hope. I really hope madi doesn't die and I hope we get a check in on Jordan. And for gods sake, please don't let bellarke be separated again.

So yesterday I had one busy day at work and I opened Tumblr and there was all sorts of drama about new spoilers, and this might be an unpopular opinion, but as someone who wrote an entire t100 spec script that’s just a flashback to the Ring I am v excited at the prospect of learning a bit more about literally anything to do with their time up there? I just crave information. So I’m interested to see how the flashback is used and what it does in terms of carrying the story forward, and I’ll decide how I feel about the whole thing after I’ve seen it.

I’m excited for the episode tonight, since last week saw the story start to amp up a bit, and at this point I’m just along for the ride. Still reeling from the great dad!Murphy moment as well.

gosh it’s been a while since i’ve done one of these but i’ve just been feeling so grateful lately that i felt i had to!! so to start, want to say a h u g e thank you to the bellarke fam on the bellarke discord; yall have encouraged & inspired me throughout this entire hiatus and without yall i def wouldn’t have been able to write my fanfics or create my fanvids ♡♡ i’ve also been on twitter a lot lately (which is why my blog has been dead lmao) so i wanted to thank my twitter peeps for keeping me company and just generally being such a positive light in my life these past few months!
