A Chinese-Japanese anime based on a 14th century Chinese novel. Takara Tomy made some merchandise that involved beys based on the characters (though the Beyblade name wasn’t present, they reused molds from HMS, which is weird considering this was 2009 and mfb was just starting)

Its mostly inspired by the earlier beyblade gens such as bakuten shoot and metal fight so yeah, you know how it works plus this is a thing because in the manga its implied that burst takes place in the future of bakuten shoot because plastic gen beys are a thing in the manga so yeah....
