“I’m sorry, okay? I’m doing my best,” Kelly sighed, not lifting her eyes from Mary Jane’s wound. She tried to work a little faster, but MJ had really made a mess of her arm. A maze of little tears and scratches full of crumbles of asphalt crisscrossed the girl’s skin and Kelly just wanted to make sure it was clean so nothing got infected. Besides, she liked to think she’d gotten friendly with MJ and she didn’t want to drag this out.
