idk if anyone feels the same way but I've honestly become a whore for plot-filled fics lately. like super deep into an au, 5k+, might have smut in it or not, makes me wish i was living in this world type shit.

& I'm super over this 1-4k pure smut fics getting 3x the affection, attention, and reblogs as the deep plot fics someone clearly put multiple sittings into writing.

every time i open this app I'm either deleting hate asks or seeing mutuals get hate and complaints like what the hell is even going on anymore

due to poor mental health, I will be taking a break from writing for a while. on the occasion that I do write anything, I may or may not drop some random fics here or there—but I'm making zero promises to anything. under the cut is what you can expect from this blog until further notice! <3

my to read tag // recs directory will be active — since I am not writing, I will be trying to read more! any and all recs will be listed in my directory, and (if I remember) I will be adding myself to more writer’s taglists so I can add new works as they’re posted, too!

i have one anime themed recs list and one halloween 2022 recs list drafted — these recs lists will be posted as I find more content/when the season begins, so please expect some cool recs to come from these!

myriad will continue, but only as I find time to write the series — the only series I am at all committed to on this blog is myriad at the moment, and if I happen to write any more of the stories, I promise I will post them and not leave anyone hanging! remember to join my taglist if any parts of the series interest you.

I will only post my 2k event if I finish the project in its entirety — there’s still a lot of time to go on my 2k project, one that is completely fueled by my own want to write it. but again as everything else, if it pulls through I will be posting it!

my wips post has been deleted — I will still write works outside of myriad and my 2k event if I feel inspired to, but some may never see the light of day.

aaa i just want to make everyone feel included in things! it's super rewarding (and funny) to get responses (which i always get overwhelmed by and become unable to respond to everyone lmao I'm sorry) of everyone being excited and also surprised they're even in a event recs list because they don't think they're good enough (even though they're just as cool and amazing writers as the rest of us) !!!

i just think it's super important to support everyone i can on here because it's way too easy for us to fall under the radar especially since the algorithm/search tags often fail us.

also I'm constantly raving about everyone's masterlists (no matter how they look) because i think it's incredibly unique how we all organize our titles and descriptions and add on extra info but also are creating themes at the same time. as someone who dabbles in cc often it feeds my creative brain!
