M: When’s the last time they talked to their mom?

uhh so spoilers but not really especially since i posted this a while ago emma hyoun is a member of the poststory cast on some level. and 1. i still haven’t started that 2. i still have a lot of planning to do (i do have large chunks in the middle pre-planned out from the old plans, but also a lot of uncharted territory. and little free time.) and 3. continuity limbo because of points 1 and 2. so… i’m not sure exactly when missy last talked to her mom, and even if i knew i’m not sure i should tell you in this format, but it was relatively recently, probably

I: In general, are they organized or messy?

messy. i feel like the reason her & ian’s shared room in the bc house wasn’t so messy was because ian kept it organized

(and because i didn’t clutter it but sh)

S: How do they tell someone they’re sorry?

she puts together thoughtful apologies, but only after a moderate-length period of avoiding whoever she needs to apologize to in order to calm down and self-loathe think about it

(moderate-length meaning anything from a day or two to a month or two, except for the one time it was a few years)

in like 2014 sharwin called her out for rarely being able to apologize without being like “i’m sorry i’m an awful person nobody should have to deal with me i should go die” which is why she 1. doesn’t do that anymore and 2. sometimes spends so long hiding away before actually apologizing

Y: What movie could they watch over and over again?

fuck i dont know movies like at all. uhh. she may have seen 2016 ghostbusters in theaters twice?

T: How quick are they to cry?

usually very quick. she tries to keep her emotions more under wraps nowadays but it never works (bolded for trait relevance not just for emphasis)

side-note: she also cries when she’s very happy or very angry, and is, again, quick to do so

i only got cc tears makeup after i finished collins mmbc

C: If they had to pick one sport to play/watch which would it be?

if she had to pick…

play: she’d probably pick swimming because casual swimming is fun enough, but regret it after the 3rd accidental bellyflop

watch: …football, but for the party aspect way more than the actual watching sports aspect?

O: How much have they changed in the past five years?

it’s not really that she’s changed a lot, but the circumstances she’s been in have brought out parts of her that weren’t always the most prominent

like, there’s an obvious difference between how missy acted before her bc went mm and how she acted after. (ppl who’ve been around since the dawn of sevenleafsimblr & especially those few who followed her ic blog in the pre-bc days might know this better, but even episodes 1 & 2 of collins mmbc kinda show what i mean.) she acted a lot more silly & cheerful before, and… was not so much after

but it’s not like pre-mmbc missy was ALWAYS so peppy. she DEFINITELY had her downswings (and non-downswing serious moments, for that matter). and on the other hand, post-mmbc missy was not and is not ALWAYS so serious. she can be just as much of a goofball as she was before everything went to shit. if anything, how she acted before is a little closer to who she really is, because despite being far from ideal, her life before the bc was definitely a lot less, like, stressful, by virtue of having fewer people drop dead

but it’s not like she hasn’t changed at all, either. because she has, in some ways. like, she’s gotten more responsible & started to act more mature (sometimes) since the fucking world ended–mostly because it’s no longer just herself (who she doesn’t care all that much about) she’s got to look after. also, despite always whining about not having a girlfriend pre-bc, she Was Not Ready to be in a relationship again for the entire time between her breakup with ayele & the start of her bc (& especially when it went wrong)–clearly, that’s changed

L: How often do they post on their social media accounts?

well she deleted all her social media accounts except for tumblr soon after collins mmbc ended. for a while she made occasional text posts but stopped last june (except to make two posts on new years) because

she seems to have better things to do than blog…

she seems to want the media/the mmbc fandom to know nothing about what’s going on in her life right now…

i seem to have made a mistake doing the real-time thing…

though fwiw she does briefly check tumblr about once a month to message lichen

she does keep making twitter accounts to keep up with news though. never as herself, though. for a while she was pretending to be a russian bot (but she couldn’t take herself seriously enough, her likes were full of completely different content than the bullshit she was tweeting/retweeting, and ian told ONE friend of his that the bot was her and the next day she got a fuckton of mmbc fandom weirdos sliding in her dms). right now she’s a fake corporate twitter for this fake image editing software. she set up a website and everything. the “download” button for the free trial is forever broken, as is the button to “purchase” a “license”

N: Are they clumsy and/or prone to accidents?

generally, not particularly?
