One of my favorite photos because it is beautiful but also because of the memories of that day. This was taken somewhere in the area if Kent, Connecticut. We would go back to Connecticut every Thanksgiving. On this particular day, if my memory serves me correctly, we had lunch at @weststgrill in Litchfield. It was a cold day!! When we opened the door there was a very heavy velvet curtain and we thought we may have been entering the wrong door. We pushed the curtain aside and got into the restaurant. That gorgeous curtain was to keep the bitter cold outside. The food was fantastic. We ordered the garlic bread and I think there were just enough for us to each have one. Teeny tiny portion for about $18 BUT it was fabulous!!! Best garlic bread. After lunch, we headed to Kent because they have such a cute little downtown area. I may be mixing events from different years but I guess it really doesn’t matter. It could have all been on the same day or different years. Henry Kissinger was doing a book signing at the local book store as he lives there or nearby. Wr stopped in a local bakery and had some really amazing cookies.
