SAW IV movie review: So... The whole movie was a flashback? You would think that this one would never confuse a viewer, but I am guessing that the entire thing was a flashback. It was decent, totally a step up from SAW III. The acting had gone a bit better. The story has improved as well. The gore was not as apparent as before. The film was not as disgusting as its predecessors. I guess they did focus on what is more important. SAW III movie review: Now, I didn't quite like this film until the very end. The reveal was absolutely fantastic and great way to end. The problem with the SAW Franchise is that they are not really focusing on the story. The storytelling was convoluted until the end of the film where Jigsaw explains the whole entire reason why the movie happened. I find it really lazy writing. The other problem with the franchise (so far) is the terrible dialogues. Only Jigsaw have well written dialogues out of the entire series. I did, however, liked a concept of the series and that was its continuity. Every detail from each film has been precise within every sequel, and how they refer to the first film as well as the second film.
