Harvey wandered through the house of mirrors, the mirrors warping and distorting his reflection into someone unrecognizable. He cursed under his breath. He’d only been in here for ten minutes and he was already hopelessly lost. Why did he even go to the carnival? He was a city boy. Fairs and carnivals were never his thing.

Just my luck. He thought dryly. His reflection seemed to shift and ripple in the mirrors. Transforming into something else. Something monstrous. It was just an illusion, a puzzle. But it still unsettled him.

As Harvey continued walking, he saw something. A flash of green. Long green hair, and the back of a purple suit. He froze where he was.

"Hello?" he called, his voice echoing slightly. "Great. Looks like I've got company." He muttered under his breath.

It wasn't a rarity that they ate dinner together; Joker liked to cook and Harley didn't mind the company. What was rare was that they had stopped at a fast food drive thru in a purple Lamborghini, peeling off into the night to find some moonlit dock to set the scene of their shared meal. It was after five in the morning and they were both tired and hungry, she likely moreso than her companion. The clown had ordered them a matching set of fried fish sandwiches smothered in cheese, french fries, and vanilla milkshakes. The smell filled the car's interior and made Jonny's mouth water. Still, she made no move to open the brown paper bag until they were parked, when she handed the food to her employer and they sat looking out over the bay. Gotham was quiet at this hour, just before all the thieves went to sleep for the day and all the respectable people woke up to work their day jobs before getting mugged on their way home.

The blonde accepted a foil wrapped sandwich, peeling back the reflective paper before sinking teeth in. Distantly, some ship's bell made a soft sound as it lurched in the tide. Dingy water lapped at the dock supports underneath them. The salt of the water hung in the air like the vapor manufactured by Ace Chemical. These were the things that spelled home to Jonny. Any other city just wasn't the same.

His eyes too, wondered along her tired eyelids, smooth cheeks and the strong JAWLINE. 

        The music of the bar was louder and the BASS was making both their cardiac beats audible.

        One hand rested around her hips, pulled her into his grasp as the man obediently dragged themselves out of the dancing crowd && before he could even hold the door knob of the restroom his lips found hers-- a helpless groan escaped as a passionate kiss abruptly began and the door to the small restroom flung open where these two rogues shoved themselves into.
