Cheezus why is every new airing thai BL I start so... 'not that good / bit weird’ again 😅

Dramas in question: Check Out, Unforgotten Night, Love Mechanics. I mean I don’t mind some of the old-school questionable trashy stuff or low budget / quality once in a while but man, that pile is getting bigger as expected again. 

Or I might be too spoiled after the good quality of the past months (Not Me, KinnPorsche, Cutie Pie, Bad Buddy, The Miracle of Teddy Bear).

Fingers crossed that the next big anticipated ones aren’t a disappointment. But it should be good since all the good actors and directors are in those:

Vice Versa (parallel universe, body swap, soulmate, fantasy)

Eclipse (mystery, curse, supernatural, corruption, all-boys school, enemies to lovers)

Moonlight Chicken (traditional restaurant, small town, complicated relationships, infidality)

Never Let Me Go (crime, forbidden love, mafia son x bodyguard)

Did I forget / miss one? There is so much coming out this year I lost count. But those are the four that sticked to my mind.

Thank you ash for tagging me in this @ashinlae - it was quite emotional to see my journey as an editor and amusing to see the journey as a viewer

KinnPorsche - does my font in gifs suck? Yes. Is my gif colouring basic? Also yes, yet this is the edit i first thought of when i was writing this post because this edit is like my ode to kinn and porsche and their journey. I am quite proud of how I noticed the parallels in the scene (did my best) to capture their journey

The Eclipse - the doll burning scene was such a stunning piece of writing and the way it was shot, showcasing everyones reaction. Well it is reflected in what i wrote. The second last picture is a quote from Celeste Ng from little fires everywhere, remaining is my writing. I am kinda happy with the coloring and colors chosen for text and how it didn't focus away from the theme

Sleep With Me - LISTEN. as soon as i saw a shot of luna gathering the broken plant vase i knew in my soul i would make an edit on it but seeing her mend it just sent me to another dimension. I like this edit a lot because 1) my writing 2) i like how i have framed it visually it with the puzzle piece kinda outline.

She Makes My Heart Flutter - besides the fact my lil nerd heart likes parallel of letting go and letting in, i like the editing choices i made. The ripped paper effect to bring in a sense of nostalgia and past of childhood romance for seol and her ex goes well. And for jung and her girlfriend going with movie - not only because they were watching a movie but because its about them letting each other in, its a sense of curiosity and eagerness to know someone, i think that goes well with movies.

Bad Buddy - this set on dissaya and ming's relationship and how it influeced their relationship with children and the relationship pat and pran have is my favorite because 1)the writing is mine 2) i am happy with the coloruing and shots chosen 3) DISSAYA she is so fascinating.

Notes: It is a very long song to vid, but contrary to some other vids with it, I did not felt like it was too long because of the story it managed to tell.
