Me resulta difícil creer que existen personas que no se cautivan con la mirada de un perro, con su simple andar o compañía, cuando ellos son puro amor, pura inocencia. ¿Será que le temen al amor? ¿A sentir? Si algunas personas pudieran entender el significado que para mi en mi vida tiene un perro, el sentido que le logran dar; todo el amor que guardan en su andar...

“So….. Who’s playing?”
Sports-wise, Kade prefers soccer and Crashball, but he’s definitely crashing all the local Sup.er B.owl parties for the food.

¿El amor se expresa a través de la libertad? ¿Amor es libertad? Creo indudablemente que el amor es sinónimo de libertad; amar es: dejar ser, acompañando.

anyway a brief timeline of m.argaret "p.eg" h.unnicutt (nee h.ayden) as I currently understand it: a wip and subject to change
born 1923 in Quapaw Oklahoma, on her parents' farm.
does go to school but she's also the only child of her parents so she can't always go as regularly as she likes.
in 1935, at the age of 12, with the first wave of the D.ust B.owl wind storms and severe drought affecting their farm, the H.aydens pack up and move to California, finding work on a labor farm near Bakersfield.
Access to better schooling came up and her parents insisted she go, even though she knew it was hard on them, financially, to not have her work.
At age 14, in 1937, P.eg's best friend from school - a migrant from Arkansas who lived in the same labor camp with her named Mary Ellen, had a date with a boy in their class and nervously confided in P.eg that she had never kissed someone before. The two practice kissing together and P.eg discovers she's sapphic, as much as a 14 year old in the 30s can.
Correspondence with a disowned member of the immediate family, P.eg's aunt (no idea yet if maternal/paternal), who lived near Mill Valley had heard of their situation and offered her home as room and board. In 1937, after P.eg graduates from junior high, they move up to Mill Valley, with the H.aydens going to work at a different labor farm near Stockton. P.eg stayed with her aunt full time.
In 1937, on her first day of her freshman year of high school, becomes absolutely fascinated with the tall, enigmatic BJ "will not even let the teacher say his full name aloud during roll call" H.unnicutt.
The two begin dating their sophomore or junior year, while also maintaining their studies and varsity sports (P.eg as a cheerleader and B.eej lettering in track and basketball)
1940, during their senior year, P.eg's grandparents pass away and F.loyd is determined to return to Oklahoma to man the farm, even as the drought was ongoing in many states
BJ proposes in a panic and P.eg tearfully asks him to wait, to give her a chance to save herself before he comes running to the rescue.
With his help, P.eg manages to get herself a scholarship to the University of California, B.erkley. No idea what she studies yet tbh!!
They marry after they graduate, before BJ's residency. when you find your soulmate at 15, waiting until 26 seems like madness.

one thing before I jump in the shower: the super b.owl is a busy weekend for maggie. statistics say that human traffic.king piques during the weekend leading up to the game in the host city. the ‘celebration’ only breeds further chance to exploit victims. being a part of the fbi trafficking task force, she’s obviously an important part of busting traffickers and rescuing victims.
