so today i've discovered that despite being onscreen most of the time, prince phillip does not have any lines past like, the 45 minute mark of disney's original animated sleeping beauty

for reference, the last lines he has in the movie, to my knowledge, are when he rides up to his dad (before aurora is even at the castle), says "i'm going to marry a peasant girl i met in the woods!" and rolls out. he later gets kidnapped by maleficent, fights her minions, fights her cursed thorn forest, fights her, kisses aurora, brings aurora in to meet their parents, and dances with her and HE DOESN'T SPEAK ONCE IT'S SO FUNNY

#aurora doesn't have lines after being told she's a princess but really most of her screen time after that is her under the curse #like there's two seconds showing them walking her to the castle where you wouldn't expect dialogue #and then a couple seconds where she bursts into tears after they give her the crown which makes sense #it's in character to not speak there yknow this is a lot for her to take in and the poor girl had to ditch the guy she liked #and then she's cursed for the rest of the movie #which is like 45 ish minutes #it's just hilarious that phillip is both onscreen and able to speak and just DOESN'T #FOR THE LAST FORTY FIVE MINUTES OF THE MOVIE #NO WORDS OUT OF THIS MAN #IT'S SO FUNNY TO ME #not kpop #shut up vic
