Unpopular Opinion: The negative reactions to Wanda's arc in MOM are justified but also, like, what did you expect? When have Marvel ever given their female characters developed and well rounded narratives.

#honestly i get it #but marvel had a whole ass film to make up for black widow and she still had minimal agency/ any kind of proper development #i can make a whole argument about women being caretakers and wanda only going villain mode for children #bc thats all women are #mothers and caretakers #dont get me wrong #im annoyed too #wanda deserved more of an arch to get to mom #but shes not tony stark #so theyre not going to give her 800 films to really delve into her psyche and ununderstand who her charcter is #at this point expecting marvel to embrace a post postfeminist ideal is ridiculous #and it sucks #dr strange in the multiverse of madness #scarlet witch #wanda maximoff
