you may like ursula le guin as she writes (science) fiction from an anthropological/sociological/biological lens. I’m not a science fiction reader typically but the left hand of darkness made me (an exclusive fiction reader) consider picking up a nonfiction book afterwards because it triggered something in me. that particular book also deals philosophically with questions of sexism/role of gender in society (human visits a planet where people are completely androgynous for 26 days each month until they go into a sexual phase with equal chance of developing male or female genitalia) and what it means to love across cultures and what nationalism actually is
waittt I love that sounds fascinating! thank youuu *bise bise* 😚
