Some other facts about the Sith Consort AU: Anakin already had this preconceived idea of them and was determined to hate them, that he thought they were horrible from what he’s been told about them over the years. So he’s at this masquerade party and he meets them. And he has this “oh no they’re hot” moment when he sees them (not that he knows they’re the Empress and Emperor/Sith Lord of the Galactic Empire). And he flirts with them and they’re so charmed by his terrible and cheesy flirting and they flirt back and like Anakin was not prepared at all for Obi-Wan “hello there” “the negotiator” Kenobi to look at him like that. Nor was he ready for Padme to look at him and smile and flirt with him like that.

And they get drinks at the cantina or party/gala they’re at (I’m not sure) but Obi-Wan and Padme pick him up and Anakin is all about this (still has no idea who they are btw) and they leave and go to one of their rooms and fuck the night away and Anakin pretty sure he’s just had an experience that night mostly bc he somehow managed to levitate all the things in the room from how good it was. And eventually they go to sleep except that Anakin wakes up first bc he has to go do his job. And he’s getting dressed and looks at them and he realizes that he just spent the night with the empress and emperor. And he’s like “oh Kriff I just spent the night fucking with the rulers of the galaxy” and he leaves bc he knows he just fucked up bc he just fucked his targets.

I have this image in my head where Anakin and Obi-Wan are assassins/hit men. Maybe they work for the same or different organization(s) and they’re friendly completion/rivals, but then they team up either bc they have the same target or because the organization(s) they’re in want them to work together. But then it turns out the make a good team and have to work together as a set.

And idk at some point Obi-Wan says something along the lines of: “This isn’t anything different, we always pull guns on each other.” And with a fond smile on his lips he says, “Remember how we met?”
