As the oft forgotten youngest child, Daen spent much of their free time executing pranks against their older siblings and the other residents of the royal palace. After all you can be sad and lonely when you are laughing at your sister falling into a fountain. After managing to escape the coup which claimed the rest of his family's lives, Daen is learning how to be his own person and finally getting to see the wider world they'd heard so much about. Determined to focus on the positives if he just keeps moving, keeps doing ,then the guilt and grief will never catch up, right?
