Andi wasn’t particularly special at Hogwarts. She didn’t have a slew of friends, for she preferred it that way, and she did excel in academics and dueling, but she wasn’t boastful about it. 

Her mother, a muggle police officer, passed just after her sister was born, also around the time she started schooling at Hogwarts. Her mother was so excited, especially as a muggle, to see her daughter do such incredible things that she didn’t previously know even existed, but she never got to witness her achievements.

After Hogwarts, she started training to become an auror. She had qualified, to her relief. Not long after starting the job, though, she was offered a position doing work for the ministry internationally. This team she had for this job wasn’t a secret, although certainly not advertised (most don’t know about it), but the work they did was a secret. What she saw and learned is under lock and key, and the only people who have access to the information is the team itself, head of law enforcement, the minister, and a select few other international personnel. This work is dangerous and high stakes, and although she had hesitated at first, thinking about how it would impact her family, she took it anyway.

Unfortunately, there was an accident. One that Andi has never and will never talk about, and not only because it’s confidential. She’s tough, not exactly one to let things shake her, but this nearly tore her apart. It certainly tore the team apart, and they were disbanded. Temporarily, originally, but Andi figured they would never see each other again.

Instead of relieving her of her position and her memories, the ministry stationed her back in Ardere. The work was still difficult, still dangerous, but some of it felt like a cakewalk. She’s not bored, per say, but she became used to the lifestyle, and she itches for the thrill of high stakes sometimes.

THIS BITCH QUEER AS SHIT. totally means business most of the time, but catch her in a certain mood and she’s flirty as hell.

she isn’t inherently the most empathetic person, but growing up partially raising her sister, she did develop an empathetic bone. Her sister has terrible anxiety, so Andi became pretty good at reacting to certain situations with a sturdy kindness and gentleness. She is surprisingly good with those in terrible times of fear. 

That being said, still a take no shit kind of bitch. She’s good at reading people and won’t deal with being bullshitted

She is excellent with mentalist magic (occlumency more so than legilimency) and obviously I’m not going to use legilimency unless it’s plotted. Also, occlumency is fine, but legilimency takes a great deal out of her, and she doesn’t use it often at all. Also, although it’s a good tool, she isn’t permitted to use it in a job. 

She grew up in the muggle world, in a neighborhood that wasn’t terribly safe, and she has a fair amount of “muggle instincts”. does that make sense? she knows how to fight well without magic, probably the type thats like “idk maybe use *insert muggle tool here* instead??? literally that’s why it exists and it makes more sense.”

Priya Kapoor is the daughter of Parvati Patil and a halfblood named Rahul Kapoor! Her relationship with her mother is alright, but her relationship with her father gets increasingly more tense as she gets older, with him pressuring her to get her act together, and Priya adamantly not doing that.

She has two older siblings and a twin sister! They all have backstories but at the moment they are unimportant. All you have to know is that her elder sister hates her and is one badass bitch with some backwards ideas, her older brother is a mediator, and her twin sister has largely grown up with family outside of England (or at least, this is how it has worked out in the past when I’ve written her before!)

She’s a Gryffindor in every sense. You know how you have people who’re in one house but could definitely be in a different one? That’s not her. She’s Gryffindor as far as you could throw her.

Priya is incredibly outgoing, but she’s also quite alright being on her own.

she’s bi as hell! Pretty open about it, but closeted to her family. That’s a can of worms I wont open... Yet.

Has a history of pranks, usually good natured and not too harmful

Priya is really outspoken in the way that she’s quite strong in her beliefs and she’s not afraid to stand up for herself or her friends. Which, speaking of, Priya is fiercely loyal to the friends she considers family.

She’s very opinionated and stubborn and aggressive, and definitely a competitive person. She may be small but she is mighty dammit and she won’t take yOUR SHIT. She’s got a very strong sense of justice as well, which she definitely gets from her mother.

She doesn’t entirely understand what’s going on with politics, but she knows what she believes, and they don’t align with this new Dank guy.

She’s not someone who really shares her own emotional issues unless she’s close with someone, and she could come off as quite emotionally distant sometimes. She does care deeply, but she’s not the most in touch with her own emotions.

Quidditch is a HUGE part of her life. It’s her career, even! She’s a chaser for the appleby arrows, right alongside James. For reasons explained in the following point, Priya believes that quidditch is the only thing she’s really good at. It’s her biggest passion despite her family not really approving of it. When she decided to go into it professionally, she was largely alienated by her father.

When it came to her time at hogwarts, Priya struggled terribly. Priya has ADHD, primarily inattentive type. This affected her education terribly. It’s the whole shebang. Infodumps, memory loss, excessive talking, reminiscing a lot (this is real I attest to it) along with the attention issues, inability to process certain types of information at the same rate others can, anxiety, poor concept of time, hyperfocus, and a lot more. Priya ued to think she was just stupid. She’s always been told she’s just being lazy or that she’s just not smart enough, which isn’t the case at all! She got properly diagnosed after Hogwarts and has been medicated ever since, and that has helped immensely.

She’s highkey stressed all of the time, but largely covers it up with jokes and what not. She struggles with her family pushing her out, but she also struggles with life direction. She loves quidditch more than anything, but something just isn’t sitting right with her anymore.

- being the second child gave dua the middle child syndrome big time. primo was the oldest and her parents only son and tríú was the innocent baby of the trio and that left dua to her own devices of being the odd middle child that was consistently doing dumb shit. not because she was clambering for attention but just because she could and she was a curious child. 

- she loves her siblings, she really does but she can get a bit frustrated, she finds it hard to slot in to most places because either primo has met them first or everyone looks out for triú because she's the youngest.

- that curious nature continued on throughout her life and still to this day she gets herself into situations that a twenty four year old would be old enough to know better (one time she climbed a tree because she decided that she wanted a very specific branch and ended up stuck there for five hours. one, because she was too stubborn to admit she was stuck and two, she decided it was a pretty cool hiding place that she could jump out on people from. she finished two books, drew a picture, got her branch and had her packed lunch the whole time she was up there, it was the most productive she’d been in a long time)

- she's loyal to her friends and family but she's got a hella temper on her and sometimes putting those two together can lead to her lashing out. dumbass got all this energy and no where to use it. 

-she’s agitated easily by silly things like a jumper getting caught on her when she's trying to take it off or walking into a door. it feels like she’s moving too fast and life is moving too slow for her. 

- dua is very much a ‘do now think later’ kind of person and that reflects on pretty much everything she does. she’s reckless and doesn’t think things through properly and says stuff without it registering that she probably should think her words through.

- despite all her dumbassery as her twin @triu-calia lovingly puts it, she does have a compassionate side and is very empathetic to others. she understands peoples emotions and thoughts way better than what people give her credit for. she puts herself in others people shoes to understand how they’re feeling and that helps her process things.

- dua actually studied alchemy and transfiguration and it was a choice that shocked everyone when she announced that because anyone that knows her would never have put her there. she got her qualifications and much to her parents frustration is putting no use to it. she chose to work in a bar and be a photographer so in her mothers eyes she’s the family bum lol.

Catriona was actually born to a muggle couple. When she started to show magic around the age of three months, her parents freaked out. At first, they just locked her in her room before finding a place to drop her off. She was literally left on the doorstep of a fire station. 

There was a note left next to Cat saying she “had the devil in her” which at first, everyone thought was just her parents trying to justify leaving her. That was until the first family she was placed with saw her moving things around the room. It was then Seamus and Dean were called. There were those within the muggle system who knew magic and knew who to contact when a child needed to be protected. 

The two men had been hoping to adopt for years. They had one boy but wanted a girl. It was then they got the call about Cat. They instantly fell in love with her, agreeing to adopt her when she was almost five months old. 

Cat knew nothing but love from her family. Her childhood was idyllic in the countryside in northern England. Both Seamus and Dean were wonderful fathers and never made their children feel anything but wonderful. But, in the way that children were, Cat was teased. It was either the fact that she had two fathers or the fact that she was adopted. 

It had never been hidden that Cat was adopted but it did cause her pain. Her fathers did their best to make sure she knew she was wanted, chosen specifically by them to be in their family. But all she wondered was why her birth parents gave her up. It’s an issue she struggles with to this day. 

Cat was sorted into Hufflepuff when she was at school. Her fathers were thrilled and made sure to add some Hufflepuff accents around their home. She was a somewhat normal student, preferring to spend her time on the Quidditch pitch. She was a chaser, making the team during her second year. It was some of the most fun she ever had in her life and her fathers were at every single game. They won the cup her fifth year, something she still is proud of to this day. 

After Hogwarts was over, she knew she wasn’t good enough to go professional but still wanted to work with the sport she loved. Luckily, she had caught the attention of another former Hufflepuff who worked at the Ministry. She had started out as just a secretary at the Department of Magical Games and Sports but was promoted to Coordinator just a few months ago. While she wasn’t fully in charge of full scale events just yet, she was working with the British and Irish Quidditch League which was all she could ask for. 

She still lives at home with her fathers, not completely comfortable leaving just yet. Her fathers moved to Ardere after her younger sibling left for their third year at Hogwarts. Instead of pushing her, her fathers loved having her home. She never really spoke of why she didn’t want to leave and her fathers never asked. As long as she was happy, they were happy.

teddy lives in a fancy flat in london, england with his best friend, james potter. james and teddy moved into this flat not long after james’ graduation as the two have been inseparable since james was born. teddy is the one who keeps their flat clean since he rarely leaves unless it’s for work. he’s also the one who cooks most of their meal since james acts like a 3 year old and never eats healthy. they live in a two bedroom flat, but one bedroom is mostly for show.

right so teddy has depression. it stemmed from hearing about the war, and everyone’s success stories. since he grew up so tight knit with the wotters and most of them lived... teddy was jealous. he was hateful at the mention of the war. all he had from his parents were stories. 

that being said, he loves every wotter he grew up with. he lived with his grandmum, andromeda, but always was the closest of friends with james. perhaps it was because he adored ginny since he was little and james was the closest thing to ginny that was still a child. he was always mature and from the start he’s been involved in the potter’s lives. 

teddy and james made a pact to always be best friends and live together one day, even if teddy was 11 and james was 5, he meant every word. and now they do live together!! yay happy times. 

teddy became an auror like harry because he was lost after hogwarts and andromeda had passed. he couldn’t be a burden on the potter’s, so he started helping out and eventually he was a full blown auror. he loves that job, loves that it gets him riled up because feeling emotions is hard. 

that’s another thing, his emotions are always so in check that he feels like he’s faking them. his smiles aren’t always genuine, homeboy has some very deep rooted issues that he can’t unfold. and sadly no one has noticed because everyone has their own lives to worry about. 

he’s 28 and no where near settling down. he can’t hold a proper adult relationship, but he fucking tries. not really a hoe but will go through phases where he tries to date people seriously and then of course it crumbles because he can’t open up.

seriously he has 2 emotions, happy and ok. he never cries, he just can’t???? like his mind n heart do not connect. if he ever cries, it’s in complete secrecy

- she adores her siblings and even though she is the least fiery out of the three she’ll stand up for them and hold her ground when she needs too, even when she’s arguing with them. 

- triú may be the youngest but she’s a bit uptight as her sister is more chaotic and out there than she is and with dua leading the charge in dumbassery, tríú has taken on the ‘big sister’ role out of the two. 

- being the youngest she’s dramatic af bc she’s the baby and because she’s surrounded by dramatic af people on the daily thanks to life. if everyone else gets to be dramatic then she decided she gets to be too.

- she’s a warm person to be around and she’s a friendly and welcoming person to all. tríú hates to see anyone feeling left out or alone and would do her best to help someone feel comfortable enough to join in. she also bakes and its not unusual to see her walking around with a tub of snacks for people.

Points

Magdalena is the only child (subject to change?) of Charlie Weasley! While in Romania, he fell in love with her mother Dumitra, a muggle, and Magda was a result of their unconventional relationship. Charlie traveled often for work, and Dumitra was more than happy to go with to learn and explore on her own, but also didn’t have much trouble staying home and letting him do his own thing. They never officially got married, just had the party, but their trust and love for each other is infinite.

When Maggie was born, they spent far more time in Romania, where they raised her into an eccentric lifestyle. She remembers helping her dad take care of creatures from the minute she could walk on her own, and eventually, she started traveling with him when he’d work.

Her mother insisted on her getting a proper muggle education to a certain point, and she kind of did, but eventually, at age 12 or so, she became her dad’s full-time assistant.

She didn’t go to a magical school, but Charlie made sure that she learned everything she needed to about magic and had the experiences that she should. This includes going all the way to ollivanders at 11 to get a wand.

Charlie wanted to make sure that Maggie grew up knowing her family and would come back to England every once in a while, so I don’t imagine her having been completely isolated from her cousins at all. She doesn’t know them nearly as much as they know each other, of course, but I would definitely like a relationship there.

She is a bit more solitary of a person. Having grown up traveling often and not spending much time developing relationships with other kids, she’s more than happy in her own world still, with her creatures and her work. She does enjoy human company, though! Very much.

At 21, she moved to England. She continued to travel often for both work as a magizoologist and for fun, like Quidditch world cups and muggle football games and to see loved ones.

She met Finnick aka Mar’s character a bit before then, and when she moved to England they started dating and were very deeply in love. They dated for five years, even got engaged, and then he suffered a terrible accident that left him unable to continue his career in quidditch, as you’ll read from Mar, and he became very depressed and left her AND the dog, which left her heartbroken as hell and she’s still definitely not okay. It hasn’t been long and boy does her heart need time to heal. This girl is internally a MESS

For the last academic year, Maggie was teaching CoMC at Hogwarts. She wanted to take a job that required her to stay home so she could take care of Finnick. When he left her, she decided to quit, for she had no reason to state in one place any longer. She’s back to traveling often, rescuing, researching, and taking care of creatures. It’s the one thing she can do that can keep her mind off of the fact that her life feels like it’s falling apart.
