#yolanda talks #shouldnt have waste this time but it took me like an hour to decide what happen post trespasser for dorian and fin'agon #maybe ppl'd care if i actually spend the time to draw them and publish these fanart/comics but whatevs #i dont like my drawings yet #anyways i changed my mind i think 1. finn's ex bf Baelig didnt die. but they broke up nevertheless and 2. finn went to tevinter with dorian #like baelig and finn were both candidates for the First of the clan and Baelig was not as powerful and skillful but he was v competitive #so he turns to blood magic and finn was the only one to know abt it. still. baelig didnt pursue ways of blood magic. they still broke up #then obvs finn became the first and he was sent to the conclave and the rest is history #while finn is gone. having been named as the inquisitor. the keeper became sicker and baelig wanted to take over as the new First #after the inquisition is disbanded. finn goes back to the clan. hoping to re-join the clan while he makes for preparation to eventually #head to tevinter. dorian reluctantly leaves for tevinter to accept his position in the magisterium and try to get on the lucerni business #before they part. well. they spent a night at the hotel with a wyenne dawn bed. u know. cause of the banter in trespasser lmao #then like almost a month later. finn calls by the sending crystal like *hey...yeah. im pregnant i think* #dorian immediately leaves for freed marches lmao even tho finn told him that its fine and that theres ppl helping him at the clan #(while they were parted. finn gave his estate at kirkwall to sera. visited her. varric and also merrill quite a bit) #obvs dorian and finn introduced dorian as a circle mage from orlais but it didnt rly help cause its already kinda scandalous that finn #apparently slept with a shemlen (dorian) #also baelig was being a huge asshat. challenging finn's qualitification as the First all the time. salty that finn *picked a shem*over him #because of him the clan eventually is informed that dorian is of tevinter--in addition of obviously being a shemlen #clan lavellan is open minded. sure. more so than other clans in free marches in my head #but its still hard to accept their first to have coupled with a man from tevinter and birthed two children who'd look more human than elven #so finn and dorian took their child (valerie. lmao i decide to name their child after my female inquisitor) to tevinter together #since finn is a dalish pariah now...baelig took over his seat as the first...and finn realizes that after three years at the inquisition #he no longer fits in with his clan... #he insisted on coming with dorian. not just he couldnt part with dorian. or that he wanted to raise their children #but also because he needed to uncover more of ancient elves' past (a lot of it lies in modern day tevinter) to counter solas #finn would have drank from the well of sorrows. so. the voices also guided him there too #how..intriguing that finn would find a home at tevinter. where all begins and ends with his people
