being an Art Enjoyer is such an odd experience because it's such an all-consuming interest.. my mood/view on life and my motivation to create / what I produce are so linked together !!! If I'm having a Bad Time I usually stop having the energy to make things or have fun making them. then i get to a point where i have to question if I even enjoy creating anymore. Then the idea that I might've stopped loving art makes my mood worsen, so I avoid drawing for a while to let myself stir and when I finally come back it's like rediscovering my love of art makes me remember that I do find enjoyment and entertainment from the world ! it's both frustrating and amazing how art and life are so. inseparable from each other ! ! !

#🌼 #not to mention all the little thought avenues you can wander down with this concept.. because for me consuming other's art has a large #effect on both my 'self' and my art.. because they all influence each other along with other aspects of my brain #and then its like.. where does my self and my art / art in general differ if it has such a bearing on my life ? #<- plus from a personal perspective my sense of a 'self' is already very. vague ? i guess ? or rather its quite. messy I guess #due to Brain Things (tm) #partly why I love stories that are about the very nature of being an artist.. or media that toys with the connections between #artists + creations. Or art + audiences! especially because you get to see the perspective of whoever is making the story #I think that can also be where a lot of Meta stuff can fall flat.. it's sometimes used to be more of a 'oooh looky here isn't this smart!' #'look we acknowledged this is a story haha how cool right! hahah so self aware !' #while lacking any actual thought on the ties of fiction/reality #god i hope that doesnt sound pretentious HSDJBHFD #anyways. i love art i love.stories peace on planet earth 🌼🌈
