not that I’m posting about it a lot but I do see why people like Succession so much. I just spent the last half hour hiding my face behind my hands because I didn’t know if I could  physically handle watching what was happening on screen.

#my posts #succession #I've got one more episode to finish season 3 and then it's just on to season 4. there's so much here. #I think the thing that's most fascinating is that like. it is basically a four season character study on why being insanely rich is like #literally just not good for you as a human being. #like obviously I do sympathize with their fucked up childhoods and they way they all got abused that informs their personalities #but every time they make even an inch of progress on recognizing that life isn't solely about gaining power #they pretty much immediately leverage themselves or other people to scrape their dad's approval #it's so disappointing to see all the time and the thing is that it's CONSTANT! you can see it in every scene pretty much #anyways yeah. this show has absolutely deserved the accolades it gets. really enjoying it. want to pluck out my eyes at some scenes.
