Hi Fence. If you could draw any hermit as a kestrel who would it be. The curse is you can pick only one.
Absolutely awful day for me.. only one :(( realistically it’d be skizz, the males being blue matches his colour scheme and one of my favourite birds with one of my favourite boys?? Of course that’s the way I’d go.
On the other hand it’’d fit scar or maybe even X better ‘character’ wise / from a more thought out standpoint taking into account more details like their behaviour and such rather than a special interests crossover episode

Hermong Us request again! Sorry for the vagueness, but: anything with the Morphling role? Maybe someone catches a morphling changing back and they have a moment of terror before they either die or escape, maybe someone sees a person morphed as them and has a weird moment that way...I just really like that role and the opportunities for scary moments that it opens up
the morphling role is SOO good for angst
...
Skizz slams his hands down on the emergency button, teleporting everybody to the meeting table. He stays still for a moment, trying to ignore everyone watching him expectantly.
“Skizz?” prompts Tango after a moment.
“Um… so… this is gonna sound weird, but…” Skizz frowns, wondering how he’s supposed to articulate this properly. “I saw someone turn into someone.”
Silence.
“Explain?” Etho says.
“I-I walked into electrical and I saw someone become someone else, but I don’t know if they’d JUST morphed or if they were coming OUT of morph.”
“Well, tell us what you saw and we’ll figure it out,” Tango says.
Skizz’s eyes flicker to both people in question, before he quickly drops his gaze. “I saw Joker turn into Etho.”
“Well this is easy, cuz I was up in weapons,” Joker says confidently. “So I couldn’t have been down in electrical.”
“I was in reactor,” Etho says. “Tango can vouch for me.”
“Uh, that was at least two minutes ago,” responds Tango. “You could’ve easily gone into security and vented or just walked down there manually.”
“So I guess the main point is neither Etho nor Joker can be vouched for?” Skizz ventures.
Another silence.
“I’ll take that as a yes. Oh boy…”
“Endless, you saw me get scanned, right?” Joker says, turning to the person in question. “You stood there and watched me on the scanner.”
Endless hesitates. “Visuals are off so I didn’t SEE you scan… You did look pretty centred but…”
“That’s not conclusive proof,” says Etho. “Unfortunately, since visuals are off, it’s gonna be really hard to clear either of us.”
“Come on, it’s OBVIOUSLY Etho,” Joker retorts. “He’s big-brain enough to attempt this.”
“So we agree it’s either a big brain move on Etho’s part or a failed morph on Joker’s part?” Impulse asks.
Joker glares at him. “First of all, ouch. Second, there’s no way it’s me. I just wish you guys could believe me.”
“Look, I know you both pretty well at this point,” says Tango. “And I genuinely cannot tell which one of you is lying.”
“Can we afford to vote one of them out and be wrong?” Impulse asks.
Etho shakes his head. “We can’t. There’s five left and two imposters so we have to vote someone, but we lose immediately if we’re wrong.”
“Oh god, I hate this!” Skizz yelps. “I don’t know which one of you it is! Everyone just vote for who you think it is!”
Everyone casts their votes.
It’s a two-way tie between Etho and Joker, with the latter having skipped.
Skizz groans. “Oh no, oh no, oh no…”
As the meeting finishes, Skizz lingers by the table, waiting anxiously to press the button. But as he tries, he realises he can’t. He used his button press already.
One more kill and they’re done for.
Predictably, the reactor goes off, so Skizz dashes towards it, hoping Etho or anyone else will press the button so they can vote someone off.
He heads straight down to the bottom part of the reactor and presses his hand on the scanner.
“Hey, Skizz.”
As Skizz whirls around, he finds himself looking right into his own face.
His eyes widen in shock and horror, his breath catching in his throat. He opens his mouth but no words can come out. It’s like a horror movie.
“If only you’d been more confident,” says Joker’s voice through his mouth.
That’s the last thing he hears before he collapses to the ground.
“-frightened him to death, Joker.”
“I said I’m sorry, man! How was I supposed to know he’d faint?”
“You walked up to him wearing his skin! How else was he gonna react? Why’d you even do that, anyway?! You could’ve just killed him; you didn’t need to morph!”
“I dunno, I just thought it’d be cool!”
“...you thought it would be COOL to walk up to someone wearing their face?! What kind of idiotic-?!”
“Stop,” groans Skizz, grimacing as he tries to force his eyes open. “Ev’ryone shuddup.”
“Skizz!” Impulse’s voice says. “Are you okay?”
When Skizz finally manages to open his eyes, he finds himself lying on the floor of a large room that’s clearly recognisable as the lobby. Impulse is kneeling next to him, gazing at him worriedly, while Tango and Joker stand at a safe distance away.
“Wha’ happened?” Skizz murmurs.
“You fainted,” Impulse replies quietly. “Do you remember why?”
Skizz frowns as his fuzzy brain tries to recall what happened. His eyes slowly widen as the memories come flooding back to him. “Oh god…!”
“Looks like he does,” says Tango, shooting Joker a glare.
Joker holds his hands up. “Hey, man, c’mon. I already said I was sorry.”
“Not to his face,” Tango retorts.
Sighing, Joker sheepishly approaches Skizz and crouches down next to him. “Sorry, buddy. If it makes you feel any better, I nearly had a heart attack when you fainted on me.”
“Yeah, and I bet you killed me while I was unconscious, ya coward,” mutters Skizz.
Joker stares at him, clearly affronted. “No, I did not! I waited ‘til Etho ran down to check on you and then I stabbed him in the face.”
“He did,” confirms Etho’s voice. “That ended the game.”
“Okay, okay.” Skizz lets out a breath. “Sorry.”
Joker relaxes. “No, it’s okay, I deserved that. I kinda pushed it too far.”
“New rule: no morphing into someone in front of them,” Tango says. “I can’t think of a single situation in which it’d be 100% necessary to do that anyway. If you can avoid it, and you almost always can, just don’t do it.”
Skizz grimaces. “I’m so sorry, I didn’t mean to ruin everyone’s fun. I don’t know why I couldn’t handle it.”
“No, dude, it’s okay,” Tango assures him. “I probably would’ve done the same. We’re just glad you’re okay.”
Skizz nods slowly. “Me too. So who were the imposters? Joker and...?”
Tango raises his hand. “It was me. Joker and me.”
“You guys suck. Joker especially.”
“Fair enough,” Tango chuckles. “You feel up to going again?”
Skizz nods. “Absolutely. I need to stab both of you in the face.”
Tango and Joker both laugh.
“Again, fair enough.”
