i will never understand why people are saying the love triangle was "bad". like it's literally not unrealistic for matthew to have developed feelings for cordelia (there were signs of this since the start of chog) and it's not unrealistic for cordelia to have developed feelings for or an attraction to matthew (he's matthew. he's a close friend. he's beautiful; a lampshade could develop feelings for him). i'm of the opinion we needed more love triangle to make jordelia have an even better payoff by the end and for the emotions surrounding the different pairings to hit harder.
