god i hate when ppl call bad writing “writing mistakes” like it’s not an oopsie it just sucks. idk how to explain it i just think “mistake” has connotations that don’t really feel right for talking about something like writing a story??? like something can have absolutely terrible plot or characterization and i still wouldn’t call it “wrong” or “incorrect” just like. bad.
