Me: I hate drawing Neil's hair bc I hc it as very chaotic and that is hard to paint

Also me: what if i made a portrait of based entirely off of something that I want to put in his hair

#i hc that neils hair is exactly like mine #except shorter and auburn #wherein his usual routine is to ruffle it with a towel and then let it air dry #and it is poofy and maybe a little wavy and definitely always looking messy and never pointing in the same direction twice #but if he skips the towel adds the tiniest bit of product and gives it a super quick squeeze with his hands #suddenly it dries in all these big curls #but hell if hes going to do that wvery time he showers he does that too often with so many day and night practices #nobody even knows his hair does that (least of all neil) until the first banquet of sophomore year #where allison is too insulted by him having that hair with the suit she picked out for him #and he wont let her at it right after his shower but he does accept the product and lets andrew run his fingers through his wet hair #and an hour later theyre all like ?????? #you dodnt want to style your hair who did you let curl it??? #neil: ive been sitting in the bean bag eating gold fish while andrew and kevin fought over the bathroom for the past 45 minutes? #anyway he has wild unpredictable ridiculous hair and im going to badly paint it bc i want to draw him in a crown
