This took me a hot second to work on because I had to do speedrun Anthurium’s new icons and I know little from the game other than Dior rambling about how their cult is fucking dying LMAOOO .    Which I need to change , I need to know what the game is ABOUT !!! 

1.) 🍏 DAISY  &&.  LAMB  ━ Okay , let’s start with platonic / funky friendships !  Considering that the laniatura of Sanctum Natura are pretty much time travellers   &&.  they’re known for hopping through multiverses for fun   &&.  observation purposes , it’d be funny if Daisy wandered into lamb’s little world by chance .  Considering she’s a devout follower of her own Goddess , she would definitely be interested in exploring other cultures and learn how other creatures devote themselves to the deities of their domain .     So just imagine her just walking in with apple pie as a housewarming gift and seeing the cult and she’d be like “Okay what the FUCK is going on in here ?” / j .     

But I think Daisy would be a very good friend for Lamb considering she’s from a different domain , immortal ( so lamb wouldn’t fear any type of loss ) , and she would see Lamb as their own person ( or lamb )   &&.  seek out a genuine friendship since she would communicate with them as they truly are .   It would also make up for a good contrast in personalities considering Lamb seems to be a very reverent creature , and Daisy’s the complete opposite due to her overly cheerful personality , this girl can literally light up the entire room with her aura alone ( sometimes literally with her powers ) .  If Lamb wants a friend that they can truthfully be honest to , she’s the one for the job !

2.) 🎎 ANTHURIUM   &&.   LAMB ━ Okay , i offer the prospect of shipping .   I read your most recent post regarding Lamb’s perspective towards love and I offer (1) immortal priestess who has the full capability to see them beyond a mere figure of idolization   &&.   worship since she is outside of their jurisdiction , it’s easy for her to see and love them as who they truly are .  Like Daisy , she also works in the churches ( or temples ) of Existence .   Considering Lamb’s love languages are acts of service and quality time .    Anthurium is a very homely person and she adores doing simple and meaningful things for her lover .   If Lamb fancies eating anything or has any cravings ( do they even eat . . . ? ) , Anthurium is a brilliant cook and would make home-cooked meals for them .   Even the simplest actions of respect like cleaning the locations where they hold sermons or any of their ceremonial artifacts and totems , whatnot .  

And as for spending quality time , this girl has the eternity of life being a deity’s champion so she’s willing to earnestly take her time into getting to know Lamb in a pace where they feel most comfortable .  Both of them sort of resonate with me considering both of them have personal fears and traumas in relation to their pasts and they could possibly support each other and keep each other grounded , Anthurium distances herself from mortals because of her uncanny to attract the supernatural has cost her those she loved and she’s afraid of losing others to the same fate .  The only cons are the periods that she’s away considering she’s devoted to her tasks in her own world hence there will be moments where her presence is minimal and the fact that she’s a magnet for supernatural creatures .   But she will always come to them , despite their differing responsibilities she will still show her devotion to them .  She would be willing to gently hold their hoof if need be .    I just find it funny because Anthurium is a priestess that attracts supernatural creatures and spirits and she ended up with an eldritch lamb cult leader , wouldn’t that be a SIGHT ? 

3.) 🌹 ROSERED  &&.  LAMB ━ Another potentially cute platonic relationship , and as a twist I’ll give a little youngin in turn !    I feel like Rosered would mesh well with Lamb’s personality .   I can see their first meeting being this child just travelling around and looking for new inspiration for her art pieces and accidentally wandering into Lamb’s world like some sort of cultish edition of Alice in Wonderland .    She just sees Lamb and instantly latches on to them .   ( It’s because she probably thinks they’re incredibly fluffy and she can’t resist cute animals )  Rosered is a very docile and sweet child and she has a very in-depth and vivid way of seeing the world .   I feel like she would visit Lamb from time to time and have a peaceful conversation with them over a cup of tea , or ask about Lamb’s cult and doctrines because she’s a very curious child .   And she’ll also craft artworks and pieces for Lamb ,  one day she’ll come running and show Lamb a dope portrait of them that she painted .  Rosered in mcdonalds with Lamb “Excuse me , they asked for a lamb toy in their happy meal.” / I’M JOKING -

“Be careful on your way home,” Rei’s mother tells him, hugging him as fiercely as she ever did. When she pulls away, her eyes are red and puffy, and he has a hard time meeting them.

“I will, Tita. Good night.”

He pauses for a brief half-second at the food-laden table, slipping a single piece of candy into his pocket. He leaves without another glance at the casket.

Ilya catches him just outside the funeral home, stands next to him while Asra fumbles with his phone and waits for an available Grab driver, tsk-ing with increasing irritation at every failed booking. He studiously ignores the little icons at the top of the screen, indicating a missed call from his dad, five from his mom, and the two texts from Muriel.

A black-gloved hand offers him a cigarette, and Asra lights it from the glowing end of Ilya’s own before taking a long, deep drag and exhaling the gray smoke into the stiflingly polluted night air. Even so, he still prefers it out here, with the smell of car exhaust and cigarette smoke and stale piss in the gutters. The overpowering orchid-anthurium-antiseptic smell of the funeral home makes him sick.

“You shouldn’t go home straightaway,” Ilya chides him, exhaling smoke upwards. Asra just grunts in reply, watching the smoke rise and curl, watching it block his view of what little stars there are left to see in this wretched city. “There’s a fast food joint just on the corner over there. I’ll even pay.”

“No thanks, Ilya. I’m tired.”

He means it so much more than he has the energy to say.

“Just a coffee,” Ilya insists. “A sundae, or one of those little chocolate marshmallow pies you like so much—”

“I said no thank you, Ilya.”

“He’s right, you know,” Portia’s voice sounds from behind them, and he turns to see her stepping through the glass doors of the funeral home to glare at the cigarette in Ilya’s hand. Ilya flicks the butt to the floor and stamps it out with an embarrassed cough. Portia turns to Asra, and continues, “C'mon, let’s go to a 7-11 or something. Get a donut, a biscuit, anything.”

“Aren’t you and Arion supposed to keep watch tonight?” Asra counters.

Portia shrugs, pulling her borrowed hoodie closer around her despite the heat of the evening. The air-conditioning inside is always set to too-cold.

“We are. I’ll get him a coffee while we’re there, c'mon, Asra—”

Asra’s phone blips, Yay, we found you a driver! the map showing the little car just around the corner.

“Grab’s here, sorry,” he says, jogging across the parking lot toward the sidewalk, squinting at the approaching headlights with a plate number that matches the one on his phone. He hails the car and half-turns to throw a little wave back at Portia and Ilya, still standing under the dim fluorescent lights of the funeral home foyer. “See you guys tomorrow,” he calls out, and gets into the backseat without waiting for a reply.

“Start trip?” the driver asks, with the slightest tremble in their voice. It’s late. They’re probably exhausted, too. Their hands shake ever so slightly on the steering wheel.

Asra murmurs an assent, and watches the city lights pass by him in a blur, sodium-yellow street lamps and highlighter-neon bar signs outshining the invisible, ever-present starlight high above the sprawling orange street-veins of the metropolis.

His phone rings—his dad, again. Asra lets it ring, doesn’t look at her face smiling at him from the lock screen. The driver keeps shooting glances at the rearview mirror, but Asra pays them no mind.

Soon the car turns onto a quieter street, rolling to a stop on front of the run-down apartment building he lives in. Asra steps out into the street, pays his fare, then watches the driver speed away the second he closes the door, the taillights fading swiftly into the blue Manila night.

He takes the rickety elevator to their—his—floor, unlocks their—his—apartment door with her copy of the key, still attached to the wooden strawberry keychain she’d gotten from their Baguio trip a couple years ago. If he grips it tight enough the garish red wood of the charm seems to pulse like a beating heart.

He locks the door behind him, tosses the keys into the little bowl next to the drooping plant he’s been meaning to water but still hasn’t. Kicks off his shoes as he crosses the living space, digging into his pocket for the little candy and tearing the packaging open with his teeth, popping it into his mouth as he collapses onto their—his, only his, now—unmade bed. He lets the candy sit on his tongue, not really tasting it as he waits for it to melt away. He lays there in the dark, silent, the smoke-and-flowers smell still clinging to his clothes bleeding into the sheets, until the last drop of factory-flavored melted sugar disappears down his throat.

And in the dark, a sweet whisper comes, a voice his heart would know anywhere calling out to him from the shadowed corner of his—their—bedroom.

“Hello, my love.”

He smiles.

The Wedding Dress: Clare Waight Keller for Givenchy

Ms. Meghan Markle’s wedding dress has been designed by the acclaimed British designer, Clare Waight Keller. Ms. Waight Keller last year became the first female Artistic Director at the historic French fashion house Givenchy.

After meeting Ms. Waight Keller in early 2018, Ms. Markle chose to work with her for her timeless and elegant aesthetic, impeccable tailoring, and relaxed demeanour. Ms. Markle also wanted to highlight the success of a leading British talent who has now served as the creative head of three globally influential fashion houses – Pringle of Scotland, Chloé, and now Givenchy.

Ms. Markle and Ms. Waight Keller worked closely together on the design. The dress epitomises a timeless minimal elegance referencing the codes of the iconic House of Givenchy and showcasing the expert craftsmanship of its world-renowned Parisian couture atelier founded in 1952.

The Design

True to the heritage of the house, the pure lines of the dress are achieved using six meticulously placed seams. The focus of the dress is the graphic open bateau neckline that gracefully frames the shoulders and emphasises the slender sculpted waist. The lines of the dress extend towards the back where the train flows in soft round folds cushioned by an underskirt in triple silk organza. The slim three-quarter sleeves add a note of refined modernity.

The Fabric

Following extensive research by Ms. Waight Keller in fabric mills throughout Europe, an exclusive double bonded silk cady was developed. Perfect for the round sculptural look required, the silk cady has a soft matt lustre whilst the bonding process and pure white colour chosen by Ms. Markle and Ms. Waight Keller bring a fresh modernity to the dress.

The Veil

Ms. Markle expressed the wish of having all 53 countries of the Commonwealth with her on her journey through the ceremony. Ms. Waight Keller designed a veil representing the distinctive flora of each Commonwealth country united in one spectacular floral composition.

The Commonwealth family of nations – of which Her Majesty The Queen is Head –will be a central part of Prince Harry’s and Ms. Markle’s official work following   His Royal Highness’s appointment as Commonwealth Youth Ambassador. Ms. Markle wanted to express her gratitude for the opportunity to support the work of the Commonwealth by incorporating references to its members into the design of her wedding dress.

Significant time was spent researching the flora of each Commonwealth country and much care was taken by Ms. Waight Keller to ensure that every flower is unique.

The veil is five meters long and made from silk tulle with a trim of hand-embroidered flowers in silk threads and organza.

Each flower was worked flat, in three dimensions to create a unique and delicate design. The workers spent hundreds of hours meticulously sewing and washing their hands every thirty minutes to keep the tulle and threads pristine.

In addition to the flora of the Commonwealth, Ms. Markle also selected two personal favourites:

Wintersweet (Chimonanthus praecox), which grows in the grounds of Kensington Palace in front of Nottingham Cottage, and the California Poppy (Eschscholzia californica) the State flower from Ms. Markle’s place of birth, California.

Symmetrically placed at the very front of the veil, crops of wheat are delicately embroidered and blend into the flora, to symbolise love and charity.

The veil is held in place by Queen Mary's diamond bandeau tiara, lent to Ms. Markle by The Queen. The diamond bandeau is English and was made in 1932, with the centre brooch dating from 1893.

The bandeau, which is made of diamonds and platinum, is formed as a flexible band of eleven sections, pierced with interlaced ovals and pavé set with large and small brilliant diamonds.  The centre is set with a detachable brooch of ten brilliant diamonds.

The diamond bandeau was made for Queen Mary and specifically designed to accommodate the centre brooch. This brooch was given as a present to the then Princess Mary in 1893 by the County of Lincoln on her marriage to Prince George, Duke of York.  The bandeau and the brooch were bequeathed by Queen Mary to The Queen in 1953.

The wedding shoes are based on a Givenchy refined pointed couture design made of a silk duchess satin.

The Bride’s Bouquet

Prince Harry handpicked several flowers yesterday from their private garden at Kensington Palace to add to the bespoke bridal bouquet designed by florist Philippa Craddock.

The spring blooms include Forget-Me-Nots which were Diana, Princess of Wales’ favourite flower. The couple specifically chose them to be included in Ms. Markle’s bouquet to honour the memory of the late Princess on this special day.

The Bride's bouquet is a petite design, pulled together in a gentle, ethereal, relaxed style with delicate blooms also including scented sweet peas, lily of the valley, astilbe, jasmine and astrantia, and sprigs of myrtle, all bound with a naturally dyed, raw silk ribbon.

The myrtle sprigs are from stems planted at Osborne House on the Isle of Wight, by Queen Victoria in 1845, and from a plant grown from the myrtle used in The Queen’s wedding bouquet of 1947.

The tradition of carrying myrtle begun after Queen Victoria was given a nosegay containing myrtle by Prince Albert’s grandmother during a visit to Gotha in Germany.  In the same year, Queen Victoria and Prince Albert bought Osborne House as a family retreat, and a sprig from the posy was planted against the terrace walls, where it continues to thrive today.

The myrtle was first carried by Queen Victoria's eldest daughter, Princess Victoria, when she married in 1858.

Bridal Hair and Make-Up

Ms. Markle's hair was styled by Serge Normant, with make-up by long-time friend and make-up artist Daniel Martin.

Bridesmaids’ Dresses

Clare Waight Keller designed the six young Bridesmaids’ dresses in the Givenchy Haute Couture Atelier in Paris.

The dresses were designed to have the same timeless purity as Ms. Markle's dress.

Each dress is sculpted in Ivory silk Radzimir, and is high-waisted with short puff sleeves and hand finished with a double silk ribbon detail tied at the back in a bow. The Bridesmaids’ dresses include pockets and pleated skirts to create a relaxed and luxurious silhouette.

The Bridesmaids are wearing white leather Aquazurra shoes; each pair is monogrammed with the Bridesmaids initials, and the wedding date. The shoes are a gift from Ms. Markle to the young ladies as a keepsake of the special day.

Bridesmaids’ Flowers

The bridesmaids each have flower crowns selected by Prince Harry and Ms. Markle, which have been designed by florist Philippa Craddock.

Page Boys' Uniforms

The four Pages are wearing a miniature version of the Blues and Royals frockcoat. The uniform draws its insignia from the Blues and Royals, which is an old Regiment of The Duke of Cambridge and Prince Harry. Both are also wearing Blues and Royals frockcoats for the Wedding Day.

The frockcoats are made from blue doeskin, single-breasted in style with a stand-up collar and completed with figured braiding of Regimental pattern. The figured braiding has been scaled down for the Pages, as otherwise it would have gone above their shoulders.

As a special memento, each Page has their initials embroidered in gold on their shoulder straps. The Pages are not wearing hats or white waist belts for practical reasons.

Their leg garments are made from blue/black wool barathea with three-quarter scarlet stripes fastened with a leather strap.

The uniforms were cut and made by the tailors Dege & Skinner in Savile Row.

Mother of the Bride's Dress

Ms. Ragland wears a custom dress and day coat designed by creative directors of Oscar de la Renta, Fernando Garcia and Laura Kim.

Ms. Ragland's shoes are designed by Edgardo Osorio of Aquazurra, and her custom hat was designed exclusively for her by British milliner Stephen Jones, O.B.E., whom Ms. Markle has worked closely with since moving to the UK.

Stephen Jones was also commissioned by Ms. Markle to create custom hats for several of her closest friends.

Paola Zamudio is a designer, collector, and researcher, as well as Founder and Head Designer of NPZ Style + Décor and Creative Director at Bell Works. Curiosity, wanderlust, and travel have molded her aesthetics into a collage of new encounters, places, and cultures experienced. The result is a bottomless well of inspiration that can be drawn upon for each new project. A graduate of Polimoda, where Zamudio received a Master’s degree in Fashion Trend Forecasting in 2013, she’s also earned a Bachelor of Arts and Science degree from Barry University with a specialty in Communications. Taking her education even further, Zamudio has also attended the Fashion Institute of Technology for their Fashion Styling and Image Consulting Programs, and completed the Interior Design Program at The New School. In 2014, Zamudio founded NPZ Style + Décor after working in fashion, design, and the world of startups. Today the full-service creative agency offers creative direction, branding, art direction, graphic design, social media strategy analysis, and event planning. Zamudio was recently named as a 2019 Design Rising Star by Interior Design magazine, and today she’s sharing five favorites with us in Friday Five.

His movies were perfectly orchestrated, and he made sure that everything was in sync: music, color palette, mood, actors, etc. He made me feel that it’s ok to be a design control freak and that details are everything.
