Heute war wieder so ein interessant gemischter Nachmittag aus Sonne und Wolken, Wind und Touristen, Demos und TouristInnen,

Meditierenden und Marschierenden, Uniformierten und Aufgeschneckelten, und das ganze löste sich in der wunderbar weiten Muffathalle in Rituale und Musik auf:
und morgen gibt’s ab 15 h ein Ritual für dich:
In der Ferne nur als Radio und Ritual ab 17h mitzugedenken und in der Gemeinschaft geheilt zu werden:
hatte ich grade noch rechtzeitig erfahren, eine gute szenische Zusammenfassung der Ängste der Veranstaltungen des Tages mit Transformation in Neue Musik: Samstag, 30.10., 22Uhr, Muffatwerk München als Teil von „Global Angst“:Mit @ZacharyJWatkins, Theresa Loibl, Micha Acher, Cico Beck, Markus Acher und Mitgliedern von The Notwist

und zur Parade sonntags, die um 15h an der Kunstakademie beginnt, wo ich dich zu sehen hoffe,
zusammen mit zivilgesellschaftlichen Gruppen sowie lokalen und internationalen Künstler*innen durch die Münchner Innenstadt …
dann Richtung Olympiagelände, 17 h mit einer Oper und Transformation, und mit Verbrennung einer Symbolfigur ….
Als Höhepunkt von GLOBAL ANGST inszeniert Anna McCarthy eine radikale abstrakte Oper, um die Ängste der Welt zu bändigen. Der Wicker Man wird in einer Schlusszeremonie entzündet, die neue Formen aus dem Feuer entstehen lässt.
Damit wird die ursprünglich zerstörerische Natur des Feuers und dessen oft rituelle Zugehörigkeit zu Bigotterie (sei es Hexenverfolgung, Bücherverbrennung oder der Ku-Klux-Klan) symbolisch konterkariert und das Feuer als Element der Erneuerung und Wiedergeburt zurückgefordert.
In einer theatralen und musikalischen Performance übernimmt Anna McCarthy die Rolle der Lucy Strike, um an aktuelle und vergangene Opfer von Bigotterie zu erinnern.
Darunter die bayerische Jugendliche Anneliese Michel, die in den 1970er Jahren aufgrund ihrer Epilepsie 67 Exorzismen über sich ergehen lassen musste, ausgeführt von ihren Eltern zusammen mit der katholischen Kirche, sowie Huldigungen an theatralische politische Aktionen wie W.I.T.C.H. („Women Interested in Toppling Consumer Holidays“) oder der Exorzismus des Pentagons „Out demons, out!“ von 1967. Performance / Ritual
Angst und Selbsthilfe
In München haben wir den hervorragenden Verein der Münchner Angstselbsthilfe, MASH deren aufbauender Gründer unlängst verstorben ist: Seine Verdienste um den Aufbau der Selbsthilfe und die bundesweite Vernetzung, auch mit einer Fachzeitschrift werden die nächste Zeit, wenn die zunehmenden Ängste durch die zerstörerischen Geschäfte und Politiken klarer sichtbar werden, noch mehr gewürdigt sein.
In letzter Zeit sind Angst und Beschämung ständig in den Gesprächen im Wachsen, und das Spielart-Festival hat das schon mal spannend aufgegriffen, aber wir brauchen noch mehr aktuelle Kommunikation dazu …
