Broken Souls- A Boris Pavlikovsky Story
Two souls, two broken souls, meet one another. Such pain both have felt. A random encounter created a bond to heal each other's pain.
Pyper, a runaway like Boris, finds herself in a bar where she meets a handsome dark-haired Russian accent man.
Chapter 5 - Dr Boris.
After weeks of pain, recovery, a surgery, and therapy to get me on my feet again, I was finally well enough to be discharged from hospital.
Boris sat with me everyday, he held my hand through everything, caressing my face at every given opportunity. He would not leave my side. Not even for a day.
I would wake up from a deep sleep, there he was, either asleep or watching me.
“Don’t you have anything to do” I asked him.
“No, I stay. Gyuri take care of everything.” He would respond.
The day finally came, the doctors entered the room, checking on how my wound was healing.
I had a nasty wound on my stomach, all bandaged up.
They said I could remove it in a few weeks, and that I would have a big scar.
I had to change out of the hospital gown, of which I was so pleased to get off, and into some comfortable clothing Boris had got for me.
They gave me my discharge papers, and many boxes of medication which Boris held for me and we left the room.
Boris and I said our farewells to the kind nurses who helped me, and the doctors too.
We entered the lift.
“So glad you can come home now” Boris said with excitement.
“Me too” I said softly, holding his hand.
“I have surprise for you back home. Gyuri sorted it out for you.”
I smiled as he said that.
Waiting outside was Gyuri, smiling as he held the door open for us.
“Good to see you looking well” he smiled.
Boris was behind me, almost picking me up to put me in the car.
“Ooh, careful. Don’t want you to be in pain” he said as he helped me.
“I’ll be alright” I smiled.
The pain killers were strong, I felt a little woozy.
So woozy, I couldn’t even remember the journey home. I blinked and there we were, out the front of my apartment building.
Boris held his hand out for me as I got out the car. He held the doors open for me, got the lift, held my bags and all.
My god he was so insistent on helping me with everything.
We got inside my apartment, to find white roses...so many roses.
I was speechless. White roses were my favourite.
“How....how did you know?” I asked him with a smile.
“Just know things” he smirked.
“Welcome home Moya Lyubov (My Love)” smiling as he kissed me softly.
“Now, must get you into bed. Can make you some food, drink, anything” he said, getting me to my room.
It was so nice to be cared for for once in my life. I had never felt this before, not with anyone. Boris was all I had ever wanted.
He walked out, and moments later he came in with a tray with Australian Breakfast tea, and some soup he had made, and some of my medication that I had to take each few hours.
“Don’t worry, Dr Boris will take care of you” he said with a cheeky grin, which made me smile.
