I love dragon ball super at its worst and best waited years for the story and characters to develope and I'm very satisfied with how they did funny how the new author in charge of super is the same guy that did the Famous AF what if story that follows up after the events of GT almost in a similar fashion but I do appreciate how they took inspiration from GT with the SSJ4 ritual being similar to the SSG ritual and Trunks coming back, Vegta being relevant in strength when compared to Goku in the future andrionds not evil Etc....

Project Analysis for 07/11/19
For the project my goal is to use augmented reality in animation as an alternative to compositing. The type of augmented reality I intended to use is one that works with trackers. Tracker augmented reality works by having physical point of reference like an image on a card for the camera to place the animation on.
I chose to use Unreal Engine as the game engine to make the augmented reality app. The Unreal Engine is open source software so I can use all of the software tools without having to pay a subscription. Using the current version of Unreal Engine I found it has an augmented reality quick build for mobile devices on startup without the need for plugins or external attachments.
After spending some time using the Unreal Engine, I started to have trouble getting the augmented reality function to work. Trying to play the project and constantly finding issue it turned out to be a hardware compatibility problem. Looking for a solution I found have to get it to register my computer but there appears to be other components I lack.
Looking at the Unreal Engine I couldn’t find a way to use it with my current knowledge. As an alternative I decided to use Unity, as I am familiar with an older version and an online package Vuforia that allows the use of augmented reality. One problem with using Unity is that I have to use my personal computer, as the university doesn’t have it. Unitys update has made it similar to Epic Games that launches the Unreal Engine. Unity Hub like Epic Games, lets you use older versions of the software and its not replaced by updates.
My version of unity wont play on my computer now it’s updated the 64 and Unity only works with 32 so I have to update to Unity Hub. Unity Hub won’t play on my Mac computer. Looking into it the problem lies with the new apple update (macOS Catalina) and the security that comes with it. Until Unity fixes this issue I may have to revert to a previous operating system that allows the older version of Unity I have to work.
Looking though forums to solve the issues I found that I have to unlock security settings that block suspicious software and give Unity Hub access to my device manually. After that I have access to Unity and its older versions. I used the oldes version they had as that was the one I have used before and the most curent version doesn’t work with the Vuforia download I have.
Old versions of Unity working with Unity Hub still wont run correctly on current computer updates. I am able to look at what is suported by each version of Unity before I install it. Looking at each version the best one is the version before the current Unity, and it workes fine with my computer. The new problem is getting Vuforias package import to work on Mac witch it now dosent offer.
After looking at forums and finding a walkthrough of an old version of Unity that isnt to different from the one I am using. Working with the walkthrough and using triel and error I have gotten the render view use augmented reality.
Getting the project to work on my phone requires me to use the Build & Export option on Unity. Finding a tutorila I unlocked the Developer Function on my Android Phone which is what I want to play it through and allow USB Debuggin and for it to recognise my computer as firendly. However Unity wont let me build the app untill I find out how to get the package name to set up correctly. This required me to eddit the Player Setting and follow the nameing rules unity has.
After setting up the name I had to make the .SDK files load for Androind functions then plug my phone into my computer. The app works on my phone however if I want to send it to other devices that are not attached to my computer I need to change the .AAB files to .APK files, which is the Andriond file type for there apps.
To conclude I have acheved my goal of being able to film scenes with augmented reality trackers. I leaned how to problemsolve issues with software I am unfamilear with and if not, find and alternative.
