mind my own business at least 10% more often (all the time is an impossible lift because i am the nosiest mf on earth. baby steps.)

make enough time between fics to have at least 3 completed chapters of an original novel by EOY 2024

organize a collab! (i have always wanted to, i have just been super lazy!!)

hello my friends!! quick announcement that i will be on semi-hiatus through the end of august!! i have a couple trips upcoming and don't wanna pressure myself to get things done around/during them lol.

gotta say i am not loving booktok these days!!

i'm feeling a bit disillusioned with how everything is boiled down to an ~aesthetic~ or ~tropes~ like 'dark academia must reads!!' and 'enemies to lovers!!' stuffed with like the flattest, most one-dimensional recs that serve vibes but not plot or characterization!!

i have also not seen a good rec from booktok in like over a year.

this is not a new take by any means but i'm definitely feeling like books have become accessories on tiktok and the most algorithmically successful booktok girlies are not necessarily readers i would trust to give me recs!!

ok the last chapter of incendiary will be out either october 21 or 22 (american)!! i'm so excited!!!!

thank you guys for sticking with this series for like a bajillion years. i know it's just a fanfic but literally so many things happened to me during the writing of this series that made it difficult to finish. i can't even begin to discuss them all but i am very proud of making it to the end!!

and i could not have done it without @darkenedniqhts and @cat-slippered helping me tell a sensitive, respectful, and waaaay cleaner than usual story. i will be eternally grateful to you guys. thank you for everything. 🥺
